Can't remember the last time it was dry for carnival... :(

The last time I went I suspect. I think that was the year before the Tory leader (IDS?) went.

Please don't quote as I'll definitely be deleting.

The railings are rather distinctive :)

The railings look lovely, very medieval Tower of London. I think I recognise the 8th impaled head from the left although it's hard to say given the extent of the decomposition.

Seriously though, they're great, a lovely colour.

    Ta Gen :)

Better than a falling down wall at any rate! I'm hoping they're not too comfortable for people at the bus stop to lean on :o

I wanted the railings themselves to be on the plain side, esp. as I had an unusual colour in mind (they can be made more [STRIKE]boring[/STRIKE] conventional with e.g. black paint if the need arises).

Neighbour who made them (and did most of the installation) is a very clever and hard-working chap indeed. Next up is sorting out the patches of earth within the railings...

Love the co-ordination with the front door.

    Thanks :) Me too!

Railings are a shade darker than the door, could probably have done with being another shade darker still, but I love the colour anyway.

That's great! It's also a reminder of how better off you are in Nikksterville than that there London. :)

Weather here in South of France is beautiful. Hot, but not too hot at 27c, blue azure sky.
However we are leaving on Wednesday and tomorrow is washing and cleaning day and storms are forecast....typical.
