I have plenty better to do, I'm just not doing it.
In other news, have just finished a jigsaw which has been on the go for a while. I need to be in the right mood to do jigsaws.

I'm much in the same position.

Tax return is done now, just trying to get some other things done for work, but trying to decide if I really want to do it tonight, or whether time would be better spent in front of the TV with a bottle of wine.....

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

It's taking here now and has been pretty heavy overnight. A typical August Bank Holiday.

    Taking...?

It's been a lovely sunny day here. Bit cool (18C) but lovely.

I work three days a week at the moment and there is a closedown for Xmas from 24-31st December. Because of the way the holidays happen to fall and the days that I work I have to take one day of vacation time to finish up on 23rd December and go back to work on 5th January! I even went to my boss as it does kinda feel that I'm taking the !!!!!

Swings and roundabouts, Gen. If you stay long enough, you'll find each year is different. Next year might be two or three days holiday, or even five (leap year?). Unless you change the days you work mid-year to suit next year's Christmas arrangements ;)

It's nice when that happens though. You deserve it. :)

Sorry, should have said raining. Goodness only knows what I typed that it auto corrected to taking. Sounds like the Christmas break falls really well for you this year Gen.

Also sounds like you are in a way better working environment that the old place.

I am having to reapply for my job at the moment. Hopefully it's straightforward, but still a little unsettling.
