No more codeine in the house. It's all gone. To take more I need to buy more.

I could send you some.;) i have a months worth left over.

Are you still in pain? Have you got an alternative? my alternative was drug free in that the Physio taught OH to manipulate my rm to relive the impingement.

On the rehab front my arm is doing very well and I expect to get a full range of movemnt. currently working on lateral movements and this week I had had my hands on my head whilst standing, behind my head whilst laying down and laying on my front with my face resting on my hands. All aimed at giving me normal movement and identifying and resolving blocks to achieving normality

I seem to do most of the dishwasher unloading now, but that is Ok as I have the time.

Unloading the dishwasher is one of those chores that is a real pain. If we ask one of the boy's to do it, you'd think we'd just asked them to re-wire the house.

I think it is if you set out to 'unstick the dishwasher' but if you do it while making a hot drink it really takes only as long as it does to say, boil kettle , brew tea and maybe start drinking the first sips ( unless you are thrice dunked earl grey) and I like weak tea these days. You just have to go at it some. :). I work from bottom shelf to top so I can load bottom shelf immediately if I need to with stuff waiting, as I go.

Probably better not to post an opiate internationally.

I am in pain every day but I have to live with it and manage it.

Glad the rehab is going well. How normal can normal be? Is it normal but a bit of a 'limp' or normal as in as things were?

Dearest, dearest generali. I would not wish this upon you for the world. :(.

I know it sounds crazy but do look into other forms of pain relief, including things that are 'mind' driven, like mindfulness. Although it sounds batty, it really can help each some accord with the situation.

Normal would be to be able to do every day functional tasks, so a current no go is that I cannot hang mugs onto the cup hooks with my left arm and/hand, as I need to reach up and hold the weight of the mug. I am just getting to wash my hair with both hands. I can hold down a loaf of bread with my left hand to cut a slice with my right hand but cannot weight bear through my arm to lever myself out of a low seat. I can unscrew thing like the cap on the milk or a lemonade bottle but cannot turn inside out sleeves or trouser legs the right way using my left hand .

The movemnt is also the "right" movement rather than abnormal so I would not stand out in a crowd. That is quite hard as work-a-rounds are easy to pick up but hard to undo to get a normal pattern of movement. My legs and feet look quite normal when I walk, but my trunk is still a bit stiffand awkward. My movemnt gets better as the day goes on, until I get tired then it deteriorates again

This morning one of the neighbours I know called and told me her husband had died in January, I feel quite sad I did not know to go to the funeral, he was a nice guy, but also, I think she is a dear.

Its one of the sad things about a much bigger, bigger village, if you aren't in the church or a bar prop you don't hear these things. :(

    Ok, another shopping question.

A digital photoframe suitable for a desk for a gift. This is not something I would ever be interested in. What should I be looking for? Any one got one?
