Nine down before lunch! I hope some of our cricket loving Nice People are at Trent Bridge. Mystic_Trev perhaps?
Aggers:Schoolboy figures for Broad, 7 for 11.

:jWords may have been briefly passed with the odd Aussie :j
Broad eh? Wasn't he being written off by the press in the winter. Second Pom to take 300 wickets and make 2,000 runs.

Glen McGrath: great bowler, amazing stoicism in the face of his wife's suffering, utter fool.
Australia are really trying to fit in a two day Test.0 -
I'm loving it!0

To be fair, SCJ Broad was unplayable. I think only Clarke threw away his wicket really.
The Aussie were prodding around and about off stump though. They just don't get swing bowling. The leave that I posted a picture of from the last Test summed it up: there is a simple inability to understand how the ball can move through the air and off the pitch.
Lots of whinging here about the pitches. The problem has really been the judgement of the swing not the seam.0 -
I'd be more concerned about the state of Belgian cricket if I were in your flippers.
But seriously, I did try to 'get into' cricket a long time ago, when I arrived on these pristine shores, learned the rules, watched games, but somehow never got into it. It's a culture thing probably.0
