Our cherry tree is about to blossom. It never bears ripe fruit though because the pigeons eat them while still green. We only get the stones.

Our cherry tree blossomed last week; very little blossom left now. OH keeps telling me we should get rid.

Our cherry tree is 6 years old and hasn't managed to produce any cherries. :(

We use the dishwasher for everything, including pots and pans. I treat it like I would treat a human washer upper - if it doesn't do it right first time it has to repeat clean until it gets it right.

Now that there are just the 2 of us a lot of the time, I often run it half full. (Especially as we don't wash meat and milk dishes in the same wash.)

Our pear tree has top right and bottom left in blossom the other 6 or so branches are a bit behind? It produced 25 or so pears last year which is a lot for a tree of its age and size.

Apple tree here has no leaves yet.

The cherry blossom tree I moved is opening its buds, so I didn't kill it!

No space for a dishwasher chez jelly, yet.

Does it need a cross-pollenator? (I'm not even going to check that spelling!)

If we were doing that, in a small household I probably would buckle under and get the two. Or eat vegan/ vegetarian more routinely, washing up meat dishes.

Here while it was just me the dishwasher didn't fill in the week until I needed to use every mug in the house for the woodburner people.

I also ran the dogs bowls through rather than just a hand wash on days when there was lots of room. Dog dog has bowls that belongs to big dogs in the past, so they are really huge. I hand wash them but put them through dishwasher occasionally.

But a tiny kitchen! Smallest room in the house. That's why I pm'd you earlier, to gauge when to start planning when changes can be made. :)
