So our dinner was a saucepan that had had mashed potato made in it and a casserole dish that had chicken curry in the oven in it with the chicken browned in the bottom first. I would be surprised if the dishwasher could have done either of those in one go. Then the plates if they had stayed till this evening (when the dishwasher will be full) would have probably come clean but might have had the odd mark left. Definitely can't be going with running it half full, think of the environment.
Mine would deal with that on top wash. Ours always goes on top wash, similar method of dealing with it to silvercar. It's only an Ikea one but it's the best I've owned so far.
It's currently dealing with Sunday's curry plates, rice bowl and curry pan.. If it was a person, I'd get arrested for abuse.

I would have liked to have done it but it was explained on BBC2 earlier, before I even knew about it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The only thing my dishwasher seems unable to deal with is egg. Just seems to bake it on.
Never put my pans in the dishwasher, wouldn't want to damage them. Everything else goes.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Mine would certainly manage the mashed potato, and probably the chicken curry too - although if I thought it looked particularly bad I might well have put it to soak until ready to run the DW. If it failed, I'd have put just that dish round again, and it would have been fine the second time. The only thing my dishwasher seems unable to deal with is egg. Just seems to bake it on.

I put everything in except the ancient bone-handled bread knife (which is only used for bread and lives in the bread bin, only being washed occasionally) and the crystal glasses (which I hardly ever use). If something's not DW-proof, I don't want it. So I shove everything in, and if it did wreck something, I'd chuck it and make sure what I got in replacement was DW-proof. I've never had a pan get damaged in a DW, though. What is supposed to happen to them????Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I have no idea what would happen to them. Probably nothing. But I expect to never have to buy pans again in my lifetime, so I look afer them, make sure they are never boiled dry, never use metal utensils in them etc. Owned them for over 8 years so far and they still look like new. Suppose its a matter of principle.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
