I don't find the dishwasher ever gets pots and pans clean and even plates and cutlery are best rinsed off first unless you are going to run the dishwasher straight away and we don't run it half full. Anyway all done now and in bed by 10.30 but still tired today
Run it half full? Noway. Mine does wash well though ( presuming nothing truly gloopy left on stuff). Occasionally I do a soak for tannin stains on teaspoons though ( ours get a fair abuse of tannin.) . We also have a monstrous number of hideous teaspoons.:mad:
When its just me here I some leave it the whole week and other times, use the opportunity to put stuff through that could do with a spruce.
RP manages to fill it alone with mugs in a day.0 -
I wouldn't know what to do with a dishwasher, never used one and only ever seen one in use once in my whole life!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Our pear tree is an absolute mass of blossom now.
Our cherry tree is about to blossom. It never bears ripe fruit though because the pigeons eat them while still green. We only get the stones. Most of the time I find washing up quite satisfying.
And as it's mostly just the two of us, there's never loads to do.0 -

Or clean the one you have got. I cleaned ours last week, no effort involved just ran a service engineer product through it and it is performing better again.0 -

I cleaned the shower 'teats' this morning....a perfect tiny ring of limescale off each. Very satisfying indeed. Want it to scale up again very quickly so I can do that again0 -
I was just listening to the launch of the Green Party manifesto on R5L, but I had to switch channels as the voice of their leader, with all it's mangled antipodean vowels grates too much.
I switched back just as Caroline Lucus said the word "pardy", at which point I switched the radio off.
I'll have to wait for Gen to read it and give me the low down.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
