Just looked it up and it looks v comfy. Did you go for the Ferrari red or the Ipswich Town blue?

The blue, thought the red looked a little cheap.

Yes, it is very very comfy, makes being pushed in it a whole lot better with less jarring in my joints.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Not quoting.

If you don't ask I assume you don't pay, permission to throw ash around attracting a fee is madness.

We are feeling considerably guilty because we never got round to a birthday party for DD2 and DS this year and term is about to end; and now it is DD1s birthday and she is getting a party as it is her last at this school so the other DKs ae justifiably feelingthey are not being treated fairly. (I know, life's not fair...)

There is the possibility of booking a party for DD2 and DS on the Thursday night before term ends on the Friday, but only available slot is 7PM to 8:30. For our DKs this is fine, the earliest they get in bed is 8:30 and they never sleep until later but I am worried especially for DS that it is too late for his classmates. Being the end of term they are pretty much all aged 6.

Anyone think it is not too late, given that it is the end of term and the next day is 'last day of term' with no work and an early finish?
    I think....

Possibly too late for the eldest kids where mum/ dad doesn't want to shlep out with 2 and 4 yr olds to pick up 6 yr old, when they normally have them all asleep by 7.30. I wouldn't worry, if it is too late they won't come and you'll have less people to worry about.

I'd say it's not unreasonably late. People will probably have a little grumble to themselves but no more than that.

Both parents don't have to collect the kids presumably so one could stay at home with the littlies and the other could collect from the party.

I'd say it's not unreasonably late, too.

If I've had DDs at work with me after school, there's a chance they're not going to get home until later than that.

It's all about what's reasonable as an individual parent IMO.
