Wind's whipped up. Stuff's flying about outside, which is unusual as I keep stuff in places where it won't be blown about.

Just checked and it says wind is 25mph - but it's the gusts that are higher - and it's whipping along my wind tunnel side garden.

Got to walk the dog soon. And it sounds really windy out there.

Once visited a relative and a tornado hit their house (it was in the US so tornadoes were more frequent than here). They knew it happened a lot and seemed accustomed to it. It was a sturdy victorian sandstone house with strong windows. I went outside afterwards and saw trees down everywhere. The fire brigade were racing around to help everywhere.

We get enough tornadoes as it is. Some of my workmates in my last job north of the sacred river Thames had their roofs damaged.:(

It is! I just popped outside to check everything and the garden chairs were rocking, so I moved those and moved another couple of things about. I have an upward vortex that is generated in front of my patio doors - if I step outside my hair goes vertical.

Any excuse for going out in that light weight skirt....
    I think....

I think I've read somewhere that we get more tornadoes here, just that they are always small ones. Found a link..

Charles Kennedy dies at 55. Scarily young. Just after he stepped down from politics, maybe some people can't cope without the stress.
