Raided the Aldi baby event this morning before work, was like a maternity club meeting.

Booked to film a wedding tomorrow, starting to feel a little nervous. Its the first outing for the video message booth so should be fun.

My new stove does a basic ironing job. Just fold and place stuff on it. No good in summer of course, or for things like shirts ( or man made materials ) but great for sheets, and things I normally might not bother with...jeans, and so on.

I buy jeans so tight that there is no room for creases.

Very sexy silvercar, But, bit rough on your menfolk. ;). Don't you wanna be a grandmother some day?

We just don't iron them. I think over ironed jeans look stupid. If the ankles look really bad I'll do them every now and again, or if I am cold.

Good luck with that, hope it all goes well.

Lucky, lucky Bugs Transport gets to be the test case for some new-fangled German law requiring us to hand over all sorts of pointless info - contracts of employment, timesheets, pay slips, IN GERMAN:eek: to prove that we pay more than the German NMW. Obviously it's directed at the Poles and Bulgarians, but they can't discriminate, so we get to provide that for every trip as well. Fortunately, France, Spain, Italy and the Baltics feature far more than Germany as delivery points.

That's what I've been doing this morning, thank goodness for google translate and some remnants of my German A level that have been gathering dust in a rarely used section of my brain.

    That's my vent!:D

Lydia Good luck with the sorting ((HUGS))

    Thank you.

What we are doing now certainly could not have been done one box a day. There would have been nowhere to put the stuff that was getting sorted. At present I have nearly 50 small boxes (mostly A4 size - I nick the empty boxes that the copier paper comes in at work and use both the main box and the lid) all over the surfaces and floor in my kitchen. They are labelled with post-its to say what goes in each. The entire contents of the playroom are gradually getting put in the right boxes, apart from the aforementioned DVDs etc, which DS is dealing with separately.

Time to get going, I think.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Goodness knows! Really odd :D

Glad you and PN are on the mend :)

Spirit Where did you find the nude Mary Janes? I daren't try typing it into Google. I have a black pair from Clarks but they didn't make pale ones in my size. (7.5, but no half sizes in that style so had to buy an 8, grrr!)
