I think some things on the list are probably a case of one problem manifesting itself as another. You can paint over cracks, as it were, but unless you fix the root cause the symptoms will show in other ways.

The solutions to those two lie in replacing the window and the cooker, or kicking the lodger out so one can operate one's own quirks in peace. :o[/QUOTE]

There will be no list :)
It will be dealt with by venting to others. And there is already a leaving date.

Extra cooking appliances were already owned. Nothing to do with my cooking facilities, just fits their way of living.
Agree re the widow frame, as I said, it was probably on the way out before I even bought the house. But I've asked for certain things to be done, with reasons (which were understood) and they're not been. And I'm not going to be giving basic training in hygiene.

It was just a vent :) because I'm not going to kick up a fuss.
I shouldn't have done it. Will keep my frustrations to myself in future.

I found a pair of Jeffrey West shoes in TK Maxx quite recently. Not the diffusion range either.

They had no price on and I was charged £25 because the supervisor didn't arrive at the till. I had palpitations. So much fun buying those as I knew Doozer would love :o

I bought my Ferragamo shoes at TK Maxx. One off pair and an absolute bargain, though not as cheap as £25. They are sling backs and my go to smart shoes to wear with trousers. Not for library work though, too much standing there.

25 years together and DH still finds it funny that I have different shoes for walking in.

Its funny, I never thought of is as an English word for pluralisation. :o

The old joke...two ( girls from names less county in England associated with up intelligence in jokes) visiting France decide to go to the cinema one afternoon and approach the ticket booth, one turns to the other and says 'eh, Sharon, what's the French for matinee?)

There are other odd ones too. Fir and I were wondering about a plural some years ago and agreed it had the Greek ending. The point is I only had to talk about one, will only ever have to talk about one and the gynaecologist didn't seem to want to chat about plurals as bedside chat to help break the ice.

There must be loads of these jokes, as English has so many loaned words from other languages. What's the German for schadenfreude, or, more abstrusely, what's the Arabic for alkali? What's the Japanese for sushi? It's an almost endless list.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I certainly hope that you will continue to vent here. It just shows that you are human, and we all get over-annoyed by small things. (I noticed that our dishwasher has yet again been loaded sub-optimally, for example.)

Dw loves ferragamo shoes. They are normally extremely expensive, so I'll have to go and check out Tk maxx for her.

I also wanted to add, I'm sure my guest also has plenty of opportunities to think 'why would they do that like that?'. I'm under no illusions that I'm perfect :)
Issues aside, we get on really well, and I gave a glowing reference. I'll also be helping them to move (we get on well enough for them to feel comfortable to ask :)).

The trick is to look regularly. I just don't have the dedication. I've not seen ferragamo shoes there.

It might also be worth checking the website and signing up to the alerts. The 'designer flash sales' might be where those go now.

I am so much more sound this morning, I could easily cope here by myself. :)

The realisation that resting something actually works is funny. I recognise this is a normal injury, not my norm, but still. Makes me chuckle about my normal soldiering on. I'ts going incredible colours but swelling going down and I do not feel the need to continue search for rental wheelchairs, I am confident I'll be up to longer distance hobbling by the weekend.

Bored of resting today, so helped with birds. They did not seem to have missed me. :)

You should've had my injury ... storm in a teacup and just bruising/light swelling today, no pain.

    I got off light :)
