I've repotted the thyme this week. About 4 plants came through.
Potted 5 leeks into deep tubs.
Repotted a very small number of tomatoes. Owing to slug-gate, I planted a few more which are coming along ace, and will be repotted in the next 7 days.
4 red sprouts have been planted out.
Another load of lettuce seed went in.
I gave in & bought another pack of beans, & have planted those. Fingers crossed these work! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Thinking of putting some (possibly floating) shelves in where the big pile'o' shoes is.
One of those corner units on the right hand side. Downside might be that this only allows 1 pair per shelf. |However it might focus you onto limiting the number of shoes collecting there.
or
Find somewhere else to store your shoes!
My shoe rack is actually upstairs. Slippers live in the bedroom and/or under the living room table. I've a pair of messy/gardening shoes that live in the garage, but I don't allow myself to walk in the house with those on.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I did not know that was the plural. I love the informative nature of the NPT. Somehow ghetti sounds nicer too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Old owner here left an extendable tree lopper. It's magic!

It might not be. It might be some sort of irregular. But it would make sense for that to be the plural.0 -
Tonight non RP tried to use my cooker. Turned the hob on instead of oven, then failed to turn it off. I had a oven dish with a spatula on top wasting to be put away, and non RP left a towel on top then left the room.
When I heard the crack I knew what was happening and creaked to my foot, and started hopping over there, but a fire had started on the towel before I got there. The spatulas stank. I managed to put the towel out with itself ( wishing got first time I had a sink in the kitchen to wye a towel) while turning off hob.
Non RP is really upset about the breakage ( I'm not, these things happen) and it reminded me how night Mariah breakages have always been in my family. Injury, death, fires, no. But ....breaking an oven dish and melting a spatula.....the world is ending.
I have to choose a new biggish oven to table dish now.. I'm sure I'll survive that trauma.
