Bored of resting today, so helped with birds. They did not seem to have missed me.
Fabulous news :j
Remember what you're aiming for this weekend, though, and don't keep resting until you're there!0 -

I'd be just like you .... or are you just like me. One of those scenarios is a bit of a worry (for you).
Yeah, but I wasn't really looking for a response. Or for advice as to asking to leave etc. It was just to let off some steam somewhere else than to their face. I shouldn't have posted.
I'm not worried, I'm well aware of my personality flaws/ facets (fussy, moody, believes they know best... just for starters). I'm well suited to spinsterhood0 -

I got off light
Better I have it as I was easily able to get help.
Looks like I am healing quickly too :j:j0 -

Jeesh - now we all feel guilty for our responses if they have closed off a place where you had thought you might be able to ventVenting has got to be more healthy than not venting and I'm sure we all understood what it was.
Now I am worried that you lot all sit there thinking 'oh no, there he goes again' each time I complain about something.....I think....0 -

There must be loads of these jokes, as English has so many loaned words from other languages. What's the German for schadenfreude, or, more abstrusely, what's the Arabic for alkali? What's the Japanese for sushi? It's an almost endless list.
I was astonished in my first term of German lessons at school to discover that the German word for Dachshund isn't Dachshund but Dackel!
Niikkster I agree that you should feel free to vent on here - you need to be able to do it somewhere!
Lydia Good luck with the sorting ((HUGS))
Lemonjelly So pleased for you about the interviewHope it goes brilliantly.
Pastures New and lir - I hope the ankles are feeling better.
I have a busy day of washing ahead (well, already doing the second load) - going away to Hamish-land on SaturdayI don't mind the washing, but some of it will need ironing afterwards and my arm muscles don't like ironing!

I know, I photographed and linked you to the instructions as it's like mine. The problem is, I can't get near to that big hedge.
Plus the back stuff, once down to size, would be easily manageable from here on in.
I'd encourage you to reconsider...PasturesNew wrote: »That'd annoy me if you were my neighbour and I could hear your musicPasturesNew wrote: »LOL.I like it. Looks funky. Under £100 from the range.
Congratulations! And good luck!
When's the interview?First of many years happily living there, I hope! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

My new stove does a basic ironing job. Just fold and place stuff on it. No good in summer of course, or for things like shirts ( or man made materials ) but great for sheets, and things I normally might not bother with...jeans, and so on.0
