PN I saw this and seem to remember you were thinking of something along these lines? We got a similar bed/mattress combo ad so far it is very comfortable and the ottoman is easy for my DW to use on the superking size so should be fine for you.

You can't beat that can you. ... I'll order one.

Shoots and scores - ours was about 500 quid with the mattress, sadly finding bargains for superking size is a lot harder.
    I think....

If it were me wanting a superking, I'd get two single bases and a double mattress :)

I don't really want/need a double, but a single would get lost in the empty bedroom. All my bedding's double and a double will give me more storage (once I've tackled the tricky issue of building it).

My attitude to ability/inability to build it is the hard part is getting something into the house and into the right room .... that's 98% of the job completed.

Double also means you can sleep diagonally, or starfish-style :D
Well done PN (and michaels) :)

lemonjelly I love the toadstools :)
They are pretty cool, aren't they? ;)
While I couldn't sleep lady night I google imaged toadstool garden furniture.

I also wondered if you could get one of those people who does chain saw woodcarving at the side of the road to do some and how much that might cost. I'd like it to weather, and I'd paint mine a very dark organic red.
I'm currently looking for an easter island style head statue for the back garden.
I think it would look ACE! :)

This time 12 months ago I was setting the alarm clock to get up at 7 to go collect a big van at 8am.
Followed by 10 hours of not stop picking things up and moving them.
Followed by moving a kitchen worktop for a friend.
Followed by pizza (in the garage bizarrely!)

Ha!. Fortunately not quite yet! It's being carefully managed. There's a post I'm saving, should happen before christmas that will make you say something similar though!

    DQWD:

MIL is at the hospital. Not well at all from the sound of things.

She couldn't recognise anyone for a day or so. She also has an (intact) aneurism in her brain.

Thinking of you and yours. Only saving grace is that you're physically that side of the planet so able to at least be available.
