....and that's when you sat and penned the pop hit for Kate Bush and made your first million.

Whenever I go for a run I like to download the data from the Sports watch into the laptop.

For me, the most interesting aspect is often the altitude data from the run.

When you live near the Peak district you can't really ignore the hills !

I looked into it for somebody 10-12 years ago and the result seemed to say that it wasn't that accurate; certainly not accurate enough for his needs. Maybe a posh thing would've done, but in mentioning the desire for such a gadget I knew the budget wouldn't be "any cost", but more in line of "Do they sell them at Aldi?"

If it'd been now, just access to the map Viva linked to would've given enough of an answer within time....there was no urgency to stand and wonder - just an interest to wonder how high it was (before, or after, the event) and if one particular location were higher than another 1 mile up the road.

Every time I go through a Km segment the watch vibrates.

In the recent 10K I did, this coincided with each of the stage Km markers.

I' d say they are for the most part pretty accurate these days :)

[Obviously, don't leave your handbrake off just because your watch tells you it's flat...that would be tempting fate ;)]

It might be an autocorrect of ICE.

    Rest
    Ice
    Compression
    Elevation

    Rice.

I cannot compress because I feel a bit queasy tbh. But I'm fine otherwise. I got the ice and elevation bits done ASAP and rest. All I have to do left today is get the dogs out, they will have to go in the garden only.

Now, the remaining problem is mauve squeaker is somewhere with a huge dead rat in her mouth ( this was the start of the drama, ) and I don't particularly want her to bring it to bed with us...and now I'm not able to dance about with her any more.

Thanks Viva, I live at the bottom of a hill but at an elevation of 171ft if I walk up the hill I get to 299ft.

When is Fir home as the rest bit will be tricky without him. Bless mauve squeaker, she is probably so pleased with herself.
