Praise for Apple.
3 yr old ipad 2 suddenly can't get on wifi. Take it to an apple store and they confirm. Guy says I can have a repair that will actually be a new one for £199. Then say that as I bought it from them (MSE deal that identified apple were selling new ipads as refurbs when the next model came out), they will replace for free as it is covered by the sale of goods act for 6 yrs!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We'll see what Apple say tomorrow when the previously working iphone 6 with a smashed screen (not warrantied) is presented to them as not charging (unrelated!). There are five phones and two ipads in this house.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'm wondering whether to augment our store of soft wood with an order of hard wood for the wood burners primarily, but also deciding how much hay to buy, what to do about freezer buying for meat this summer/autumn.
The start of an el nino pattern has been identified. It will mean fewer hurricanes, wetter weather in Western USA and a harsher winter here
Heard this on tv about week ago. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

This doesn't help at all.
I wonder if this is similar:
I want to wear a skirt on Saturday, not the pencil skirt but maybe a tulip skirt, because I think a fish tail might be a little ott don't you think? Unless you think its more casual and an a line or a straight with a cute detail might be better?0 -

I'm not sure the correlation between el nino and cold UK winters is particularly strong.
However let us hope that it does indeed break the drought in the SW USA as otherwise we are all going to pay with higher food prices.I think....0 -

No...it's more like you want to wear a skirt but find yourself dressed in a potato sack and scavenging for scraps on an enormous mound of household waste.0 -

Or go a little further and go to Felixstowe.
Yarmouth is ok, bit too commercialised for my liking although Gorleston just 2 miles down the road is quite nice with a lovely beach.
Wasn't impressed with Southwold or if anyone else suggests it, Walton on the Naze.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I go to near Great Yarmouth every year....we only visit Yamouth for the cinema and a cream tea, alas the place where we always got our cream tea shut down over the winter. We made it!
