Believe me, some boobs are meant to be covered....starting with mine!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Do I sleep with the TV on? It seems nailbiting. Lots of people playing down the exit poll. Except Andrew Marr who appered to be celebrating the Tory win already!

Possibly because his house is worth more than £2m?

Went voting around 8pm, first Mrs. Wheezy while I waited with doggy outside, then me while she waited with doggy.
Dogs are allowed in polling stations, but I didn't want to take the risk in case he'd lift his leg at a polling booth!

Our polling station is in a local school, and the guy on the gate refused to allow Doglet in. It wasn't a big deal to hitch Doglet to the gate post, so I did not make a fuss. But what if the guy on the gate had decided only to allow in UKIP supporters, say?

I'm about to find out who won .... as I've no idea. And, I don't really care, but people will expect me to know - and if you get run over they ask you this sort of stuff to check for brain damage.

Much to everyone's surprise the Democratic Unionist Party won. Shortly after declarations, almost all of those elected defected.

A waxwork of Rev Ian Paisley is currently being driven to the palace with a man from Amagh practicing in the car next to him, "Gottle o' gear, gottle o' gear".

There were fireworks being let off nearby at 1AM. Somebody celebrating the election result, maybe?

Did NPs ever ask their parents what they did on VE Day? Or do you think they might have said but you simply weren't listening?

My mum lived in a huge extended family, so had a half-sibling, an uncle, 3-4 cousins + probably a dozen other related people all within 300 yards... and she/they were about 20, so I bet, rather than the party across the road from their house (which was family-orientated), I bet she/they were off into town 2 miles away to find boys/girls and have drinks.

I bet there was a population surge in the first 2 weeks of February 1946.

My dad cannot remember. My mother remembers celebrating, but they were not in Europe.

    Ascension????

I could understand someone aiming fireworks at a politician but just generally into the air? Not so much.

I've just made enquiries of a leather sofa for sale ..... but it's by email, so it'll be hit and miss how that works out.

More likely a miss, if you try to get a sofa delivered via email
