And some of us had 5 ballot papers per polling station, and papers with 14 names on are rather unwieldy, and it gets more difficult when your fingerprints start wearing away...
We declared around 9:30 instead of our forecast 3... Some (mainly council employees) are starting the next part of the count at 12
Whilst we've made sure the expected numbers of ballot papers are present, we only actually counted the parliamentary slips.
Was trying to avoid any political posts earlier (safely at home now, was a very cautious drive back), but wow.... no minority government then?! Balls, Cable, SNP, Labour. Change at the top of Labour, lib dems and UKIP?
Anyhow, time for some sleep (hopefully). Hope I don't count sheep in 10s...0 -

Went voting around 8pm, first Mrs. Wheezy while I waited with doggy outside, then me while she waited with doggy.
Dogs are allowed in polling stations, but I didn't want to take the risk in case he'd lift his leg at a polling booth!0 -

I didn't know dogs were allowed in polling stations. Next time I might only have kiwi. If kiwi ends up as an only dog he's going to be one of those that cannot be alone ever.
Fir went on a longer run yesterday and carried kiwi for long stretches :rotfl:. Today, he left kiwi here, and ran through three villages. Kiwi bombarded him on he return and have him a piece of his mind, then stretched and made it clear he expected a run, so they went round the fields together. :rotfl:0 -

I also learned that men are allowed to vote topless, but women are not. Pffft.0
