Think it's going to be outdoor flying after lunch. So far:
* went to mobile library
* went to gym; 4th day running but don't fear, I'm back to work next Tues!
* packaged up some empty printer cartridges to post to recycle
*picked up anything on bedroom floor which should be elsewhereRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Afternoon all!
Sorry to hear about the car, mummyroys
Hope the dogs are settling down, HB
How nice to have found a new cousin, Dusty!
Have you been to the hospital yet, lynnejk?
So far today I have
- prepared breakfast and DH's packed lunch
- taken DH out early to play on the steam railway all day (= one happy bunny)
- shopped at Sainsbugs for bits that I can't get at @1d!
- updated pass book at Bank 1
- updated pass book and opened new cash ISA at Bank 2
- looked at clothes and things in a couple of shops but didn't buy anything :money:
- drew a blank re the things I thought I could get at Bee and Queue
- found a really helpful assistant at the garden centre who told me where to find what I need at Bee and Queue (so I'll go back this evening)
- spotted the robins' nest on a bookshelf inside the garden centre!Last year they nested in a watering can hanging on a display stand, but the staff have changed the shop displays round this year, so the robins had to move house
- unpacked and put away
- drunk coffee
- written [STRIKE]3[/STRIKE] 4 emails and made 2 phonecalls
- updated the charity website with the new logo *at last* - there is one very tiny problem which I have tried and tried to solve, but it is wasting ridiculous amounts of time and mental energy, so I am now studiously ignoring it and hoping that nobody will notice Otherwise it is looking good :j
Lunch now, then out to finish the shopping at @1d! and maybe do some bits of gardening before I have to go and fetch DH. See you all later x0 -
