Haven't lots of us got birthdays this week, Honeybear I have a vague idea yours is soon?

Oops. Caught out again. Why is it that every time I tell a lie it catches up with me? Okay, so Confession Time: The date on my MSE 'About Me' isn't my birthday. I put random dates all over the place so that my records can't be tied up together by data-harvesting-robots. Sorry. (It's been interesting discovering that if you click through MSE to get travel insurance quotes etc, the date on the other website can't be over-writren with the acutal one, either.) And thank you for thinking of me.
DGS arrived just before midnight weighing 9lb 9oz, now wonder she had a job pushing him out!!!!! both mum and babe are doing very well. Can't wait to meet him, she said none of the babygrows she got fit him as he's so big
Better get knitting the next size up

I've been phoning and texting family so can breathe again now:j

Huge congratulations Mrs MoneyPenny. May he grow big and strong and have a full and happy life.

Flying has been quick and vital. The dogs have arrived. I've given them a bowl of water, a tripe chew stick each and am letting them snooze it off while I rejig various things in the house now that I know a little bit more about them.

Devil Cat is very, very worried.
    Better is good enough.

Gosh HB - great news they've arrived okay but sound demanding. Hope they soon settle down for you.

Pigpen - love the picture - really an Aaaw moment :)

I've managed to do a bit of a sort out of the small, shelved freezer and found some hm chicken in sauce for dinner. Will sit and do some veg in a minute.

DH brought in some more files and a large heap of brochures etc for me to go through last night and I'm about two-thirds of the way through it.

Definite chill in the air now and I've had to shut the door and window.

Lol I didn't go searching for it; just vaguely recall from previous years that there were a few of us in the space of a week!!

I realised during a phone call with my brother earlier this week that I've actually been quoting myself as a year older than I actually am for the last - well I don't know how long really - on surveys and I think once on here. It wasn't deliberate. I actually had to go onto a calculator web site to convince myself..........dementia must have set in. Still, at least next week I'll be the age I've been using for a few weeks already. Very odd.

    Great news about the dogs.

And great grandbaby news to MrsM also coupled with legs firmly crossed at the size of him.......

And as someone who supports English, I'm not sure why I used 'actually' so many times in one sentence!

    Hi all

Aww Pigpen yet more adorable children in the Pigpen family. Lovely photo.

So, I have found out that I am about to be made redundant from job number 2. OK, dont tell anyone, especially OH, but I am really happy about it. I have juggled two jobs for the last couple of years and seeing as I do 100% of the domestic stuff around here it means that I get very little free time.

Of course losing my second income is not good news. There may be an option of other work in the Company that I can do from home but I have no idea what this would be at the moment. I need to think carefully about it.

Congratulations Mrs MP - what a whopper!

I have flown outside this afternoon. I really should have a go at the bathroom but have lost my motivation. Just having a brew then will move myself.
