    Morning everyone.

Living room, bathroom and kitchen done up to now this week. Kitchen will need floor doing again late. Workmen in and out getting water etc. I'm having the yard walls stripped and redone. Should have been done a long time ago. When they stripped the bit by the big kitchen window it was lightweight blocks they had used. No wonder I've always had problems at that end. Plus there is a large gap behind. I think it will help getting it redone.

Yesterday sorted out all the bedding and towels. Some going to DDs and other bits to charity shop.

Bedroom day today. Must get up and put the bin out before I forget.

    Morning all

DH is 50 today so after we have been to my mum's for tea we are planning on going out. He's at work today though and has now got to go tomorrow too so we'll see.

I'm thinking that I might spend a couple of hours in the conservatory as some of you will know that during the winter it turns into a junk room and is unusable. We could then take advantage of the nice weather and actually sit in it.

Other than that I could do with going food shopping and having a bath then probably starting on the LR tomorrow.

    Mrs MP congratulations!

    Well done to Mr Rose.

HB hope the dogs calm down soon.

Piggers lovely pic as usual - how did the interview go or is it today? Best of luck anyway.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning all :j

Had a bit of a lie in this morning so no flying will get done before work today and I'm not sure much will get done after work as it's food shopping day for me. As per my DFW diary I have to try and get it below £40 for the week but the problem is because I've been flying so much this week I now need a load of cleaning products :rotfl: Does anyone make their own natural cleaning products? It's been something I've been thinking of trying for a while and it wold be nice not to use so many chemicals.

So not much to report today apart from the usual dailies (DW, WM, cooking) but the plan is to catch up on the weekly list tomorrow and finish anything I haven't managed during the week.

I will log in later for a proper thread catch up.

Have a lovely day in the sunshine :)

    Morning lovelies :hello:

Work for 5.5 hrs today so not much gets done on a Friday, so just dailies and pottery type things. Will be sticking diced beef in the slow cooker shortly for tea, to have with mash and veg, yum, hate the prep first thing but oh so grateful come tea time and its all done (mostly)

    Empty dw
    reload dw
    small tidy in LR
    prep tea
    feed animals
    wipe benches
    Gather washing
    make sarnie for work

Hmm think thatll cover it. Will have a quick catchup read now xx

What do you think you need? We can give you ideas, I don't have many cleaning products.

Windows/mirrors - I have a spray (old hair product bottle), water, dash of vinegar
Toilets - I use method cleaner in the bowl, spray as before outside but more vinegar and a few drops of washing up liquid
Furniture I use use a decent duster which the dust sticks too or a damp microfibre cloth
Floors, I use hot water with a dash of washing up liquid, I have a flat head mop, like microfibre
Sinks, Aga etc I have a tub of astonish paste, brilliant and less than £1 gets off most things
plug holes, washing soda and vinegar to fizz

Argh...car needs new door and respray...£225. Lady wants to go through insurance and they said may scrap it rather than repair so will not be happy if they do grr

This happened to me recently (next door neighbour drove into me with her mum's mobility car  ) The insurance company wrote my car off "uneconomical repair" but they sold it back to me as it was still drivable. I brought a new car with the pay out anyway but kept the broken one on the drive, DD1 has it now. Just had to get it VIC checked, cost about £40 but it has to go there on a trailer or driven by someone with trade plates. I still has a damaged door but it's fine for her. To be honest we probably wouldn't have been able to afford a car for her if this hadn't happened :o

I haven't had change to update my lists yet so I'll be back later to do that . . .

    Mogs fed, cuppa drank.

I'm going to strip our bed, get the linen in the WM and clean the bathroom before the sunshine calls too loudly.

Kboss I read on Pinterest that a little cream of tartar mixed to a paste with water is brill for cleaning greasy kitchen appliances when rubbed on with a sponge. Tried it and it works!
Dusty brill news, DHs never had contact with any of his cousins it's opened up a whole new set of relays for him since I started searching family stuff.weve met a few times now and none of us can understand why distance was put between them.
Went to hospital last night what can I say I'm in love!!! He is really perfect, already in 0-3month clothes! Now feeding well and this mornings text says they are ok to go home today!

Hugs good wishes and positive vibes to all who want them.
