    Hiya everyone :hello:

Mrs MP - what a gorgeous picture of a lovely baby. He doesn't look new-born does he ?

Well - I want to say a BIG thank you to you all and this thread. If I hadn't been helped so much on here to get my house into some sort of order I don't know where I would be now. Even though I've not been able to do bu**er all this week it still doesn't look too bad - so take a bow fly-peoples :T

Foot slightly improved but still not good. Hope to be in with some of the light stuff next week but not planning to do too much.

At least the enforced sit-down has had a good effect on the declutter of the paperwork. Three more files sorted today and the end is definitely in sight though not quite yet. Plan to do some more the morrow as DH working :(

Hope you all have a super Saturday

    Morning all

What a bostin' little lad, mrs-mp :) May he bring you all much joy!
Loved the photo of your grandbeastlings, pigpen. How did your DD2 get on at her interview?
    (((Hugs))) to HB
Glad to hear that your ankle is improving, lynne.
Well done dancemum's DS2 and Henry
Daisy, I use roughly the same cleaning materials as Dusty. A very fine microfibre cloth is best for damp-dusting: mine is actually a dish cloth

My sleep pattern is all over the place again, and the birds woke me at 5.20, so I have made myself a cuppa and will start some jobs while DH sleeps on.

I am gradually whittling down my list of things to be done, although the house flying is mostly on hold for the time being. There's plenty of time before the next lot of visitors come, and the LR is tidy enough to welcome any friends who might call in! I'd like to think that the garden is my priority at this time of year, but I'm having to restrict wedding and planting to no more than an hour at a time, otherwise the pain in my shoulder puts me out of action for the next couple of days

    Today I hope to
    - check finances and clear out old receipts from the basket on my desk
    - print tickets
    - send 2 "business" emails
    - update my expenses claim
    - pot up chard seedlings
    - plant out lettuces, strawberries and peas
    - plant runner beans
    - get DH to take me out to lunch and then a mooch round another NT property which has a lovely garden; maybe we'll even go mad and have cake with our afternoon cuppa ;)
    - watch a DVD this evening, trying not to fall asleep

It has just started to rain here and the birds have gone quiet again :p

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all as needed - see you later x

    Morning everyone

Wet and rainy here. I have things to do on job number 2 so will get that out of the way this morning, not much longer and I will be free of it, such a relief. I probably wont be saying that when DSs PIP application gets refused and we are desperately short of money ...

Oh and I want to pop into town for a couple of bits of shopping. The weather is supposed to improve so I will wash our sheets when OH gets out of them!

Well done daisychain. If you can get this whole flylady business right you should be able to down tools at the weekend or maybe catch up on some things that you want to do - rather than feeling like you have to spend all weekend cleaning the house.

    OK, best get started!
  • Morning everyone - it's raining here too, so a good decision not to c boot was made yesterday!

Glad your ankle is improving slowly Lynne. DH had a fall some years ago and it was soft tissue injury - took ages to heal but he's OK now.
    Sorry about the dogs HB.

Treated myself to new mast. bra yesterday - one specially for t shirts - coincidentally named the same as my dear friend and ndn!! It is 6 inches smaller than one I had just over a year ago - yay!!!

Not sure what to do today - will wait and see if it fines up and perhaps go to garden centre?

Have a great day everyone. x

    Morning All

Well I'm in the process of sorting out the bookcases in the conservatory so I can hopefully fit some of my files in there out of the LR. DH has just rung me though to ask me to start sorting stuff in the LR so he can start to move some furniture about today! I want to finish the bookcases first though and then I'll see where I am.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Treated myself to an hour in bed reading magazines, one ready to be be decluttered to the GPs next week, plan to work through the pile so more are ready to go.

HB so sad for you that the dogs have not worked out but thank you for thinking of the welfare of your cat.

Mrs MP wishing you lots of lovely baby snuggles

JTTOU great news on the mising 6"s

    Plan:
    Shower
    Clean downstairs shower room
    wash up
    finish dusting living room
Meal plan and then food shop

I'll think about the rest after lunch. Quite cloudy and chilly here so that will make me get on with things in doors.

Morning all. Lovely to see the pictures of babies. Hope all injuries heal soon and sorry to hear about the dogs HB.

This morning, I am still in my pj's. I have done a freezer inventory, sorted the fridge and done a menu plan for the week. I'm fed, the dogs are fed and I've washed up the dishes. Next I'm going to catch up on the ironing while watching a DVD.

I also want to hoover and mop through the house today as I'm out tomorrow.

    Have a great day everyone.

You wonder, sometimes, if any of these 'candidates' have ANY sense at all...

Anyhoo s'pose I ought to 'get on' and do something...
