Morning All
Carpet is half up in the LR and is now on its way to the tip. LR is empty apart from the furniture which will be moved when DH comes back from picking his mate up and the tip. Not sure how we're going to eat today and tomorrow as the kitchen and DR will be full of furniture! I already can't get in the WM which has a washed load of clothes in it!
Have a good day all
Hugs

Morning all. Sounds like you'll have to get a takeaway Juliejim and eat out of the wrappers.
I'm just waiting for DD and her BF to pick me up as we're off to the cinema this morning in York.
All dailies are done and beef is in the slow cooker for later.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
The only thing is Jazee, I only started SW last week and I had chips last night as I couldn't get at anything!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

juliejim - there is a section at the back of your Slimming World book on take a ways. Chinese is a good option - beef in black bean sauce with boiled rice is 8 syns.
Hope this helps.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Have two loads of bedding on the line and they are dry already - it's SO windy! Cleaned out the sleeping section of the rabbit hutch (where the mess is;)) and that's drying nicely. Will do the rest if I manage to source some sawdust. cat litter trays washed out. Windy here too valli, washing on the line, hoping the Aga doesn't blow out today, it did ysterday and it wasn't as windy.
Mr L shop done and put away, lunch just finishing. then I want to go through DS3's clothes with him and head out for a walk with the boys, we all need a bit more exercise and fresh air.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Does she find that they turn up looking shabby so they are not offered the jobs? My daughter is pretty desperate to have money she doesn't really care where she works so long as they pay her.. she wants to buy clothes and make up and other girl type things.
Hopefully DD2 will get this opportunity.
I'm sorry to say I don't know very much about it, but she told me that it appeared to her that most of the poeple 'sent' for effectively compulsory interviews in order to continue to qualify for benefit made it abundantly clear they didn't want the job. She took the job because she was over 50 and couldn't get anything in her local area (down here) and relocated 300 miles to work. Seven months later, just after she'd signed a 6 month lease on a new flat, they told her that due to another re-organisation, her job no longer existed. She was unemployed for a while, took several maternity leave temporary posts and now has her dream job working as a captain's PA on cruise liners. At least, it would be perfect if she hadn't broken her arm falling over a passenger's suitcase while disembarking from her last cruise; she's laid up at home until it heals, so she's missed the next cruise.
I'm sorry steady work is so difficult to find in your area. It horrible for everyone, those that can't work and those that are in work that have the painful task of sifting out those hopefuls who are perfectly capable of doing the job but there just aren't enough jobs that need filling.
Regarding washing machines CY, I have had two hotpoints, both reconditioned because I never buy white goods new if I can help it. The current one can take up to 7 kgs at a time, but I never fill it to maximum. (I took the wool rug to the laundrette on Friday, because at 3kg dry it was going to knacker the machine on spin when it was wet.) I find that helps them last longer. But, as Valli says, Piggers is the WM expert.
WM going here, two loads today, while I finish off in the yard and on the sundeck. Then I'll do the superking now that this week's lodger has gone and the shower room, so that they're ready for the next guests. It looks as though we've got a fortnight of no guests which is fine; it'll give me a chance to do some serious sorting and clearing out.Better is good enough.0 -
Top part of ratties cage has been dismantled and all the shelves, ladders, etc. scrubbed clean. Hammocks are currently in WM on last spin. Carry case also thoroughly cleaned.
GP watched and some other catch up stuff from ages ago.
Going to see Godspell with Mum tonight and then planning on going into work tomorrow to get my planning done. School is only open tomorrow and Weds and I can't go Weds so have decided to go for it and hopefully get most of the work done with no distractions (FB / TV, etc.)
Jazee and ionafan - you have PMs.

It's chucked it down all day but at least that infernel wind we had yesterday has died down, got some washing dry on the back of it though, so grass cutting was off the plan, shame.
