Welcome. And I'm sure we agreed years ago that gardening counted as flying........

Mrs MP big congratulation to you all on the birth of your DGS

Sorry to hear about the car Mummy3

    Dog calming vibes HB

    Bit of flying done
    Lot of surfing done.

Oh and feeling excited and sad. I decided to contact a cousin I never knew I had until recently on FB. He has replied and said he'd love to know more about me and my family as he has never met anybody from his Mum's side and has often wondered about cousins. Family rifts are so sad, I'm really struggling with what I tell him family wise re why the family separated especially as the relations on my side have passed and his Mum is still alive. Views? I tempted to not even go there unless he asks.

How exciting! Yesterday, I took my Dad - 80 - to visit his Aunty - 92 - (her son contacted me via FB and I went to see her a few weeks ago). Dad hadn't seen her in about 70 years, but we all chatted like we'd known each other forever and we ended up talking for 5 hours!

You don't have to tell him anything even if he does ask - you can always say you don't really know what happened. In my case, both sides of the family drifted apart for various reasons (some we still have no real idea about) but it hasn't stopped those of us who want to getting together and getting on!

Anyway - flying ........... errr ............ what have I done? .........aha!

    Rubbish and recycling out
    WM x 1
1 box and 1 bag ready for CS
    1 pile of carp sorted

Need a list for tomorrow .................

Ok... As I thought, bathrroms didn't get done so will tackle those to,orrow but I did suggest to hubby that we do an hour of sorting after the kiddies had gone to bed which we did! So the top and bottom of our double warderobe have now been cleared! Most of it has been boxed up!mour bedroom is a tip but it is a work in progress. I don't want to just shove it all in a box, I would like similar things to go together so it makes it easier when we get to the other side! Anyway e everything is feeling a lot less cluttered in the rest f the house! Did a huge shop today as well!

    Hello, flyladies (and gents?)

I've been on a bit of a cleaning marathon recently as I'm sick of living in disorganisation and clutter!

Last weekend I re-organised all of my wardrobe and drawers so that everything now belongs somewhere.

Tonight I cleared out my cleaning cupboard under the sink and made it nice and neat. I also organised my bin bags/food waste bags/paper basket liners/freezer bags etc. into one of those wooden ikea magazine boxes - finally I can put my oven gloves on top and they don't slide off the shelf!!

Pinterest, I must say, is amazing for fabulous storage ideas.

Still to do, the pans cupboard and my boiler cupboard (where good kitchen utensils go to die!)

I don't know, I feel like I'm putting my life back together bit by bit after being until-recently unemployed and I don't know whether the cleaning is a symptom or a reason. I could never be bothered before.

DH brought in some more files and a large heap of brochures etc for me to go through last night and I'm about two-thirds of the way through it.

All sorted :T Large bag of paperwork depersonalised for rc, files sorted and a couple maps and brochures shelved. Three more files on dining table to sort the morrow.

Totally agree. I would concentrate on the 'now' and be very vague about past matters if he asks.

Have decided to take my foot to the horse-pital the morrow if no improvement - as it doesn't seem to be mending and it will be a week since.

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday

Well I am actually really pleased with what i got done today, pretty much out in the front garden all day pruning hedges and shrubs, some of which havent been done for 2 years :o (Have recently finished an accountancy qualification which had taken over my life, what with working full time as well). Its nice to spend time in the garden and I actually quite enjoyed it. Not exactly how I planned to spend my weeks holiday, but quite satifying to look out the window now!

    Tomorrow my aims are to
    - hoover lounge
    - file paperwork
    - hoover and wash kitchen floor (of muddy dog feet!)
    - go to work on farm with fianc! for a little while to help with chopping up trees
    - finish making my vegi patch *so excited!!*

Thanks all. I've replied to him with a bit about us all and asking what, if anything he already knew about us and asking about his family. It is very exciting that he replied and was curious too.

List done for tomorrow. I really must fly some more but with tomorrow promised as a nice weather day here it could be mainly outdoor flying.
