If your statement is dated 20th May, you would have about 10 days to spend £225 to earn £9 cashback so go for it and get what you can to the very end.
I checked with them and they said we will get our cashback paid to us in our June statement, so that will be the 14th for me. I have already cleared my card anyway. It was only a backup; my AmEx serves me well.0 -

Yes, but the letter states no cashback will be earned on transactions posted after the 31st May, you'll still get cash back but in your case not on transactions posted between the 1st June and your statement date the 14th..
That's how I understand it anyway.....After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

That's how I understood it too.
I guess this allow time for any refunds to get credited and for them to run the s/w to calculate the cashback.0 -
I also understood that cash back will not be paid post May 31st but as I am preparing to cancel, I have already stopped using it in favour of my Amex. I get a better service with it and get more cash back with it. Where I can't use Amex I can try either PayPal using my Amex or go to an alternative retailer altogether.0

Amex will only beat 1 % on high spending, then with a fee, reducing the average % rate overall..?
.Rather complicated way (paypall) online, or use petrol running round shops.?.Just get another card.0.5%.0 -
very few places that don't take Amex though, ime, Joe0

just applied online for asda money back credit card I have over £20.000 income got accepted credit limit £300.I rang them they said I have to wait for 6 months before they will increase the £300 to £800.
I also applied online and was accepted with a £300 limit. Called them the following day to request a limit of at least 1k and preferably 2 or 3. They said they would request it but I wouldn't know what I got till the card was issued.
The card turned up with a 1k limit which I can live with. I assume my credit rating is good - I have never checked.
I was expecting more people to be applying for ASDA cards and posting their experiences.0 -
