    ok, even then you must have had the card for a good few years.. top rate has been 1.25% for years. Amex seem to stick to the terms that've been agreed though. great CS.

    Bye Bye Cap1. Final payment taken today. Will wait until 7th when next statement comes and then send secure message to close. Had the card since 2007. It is now no longer in my wallet. Using the TSB card now, 1% cash back and interest free for 20 months.
