I see that the mods have now renamed the thread. So they accidentally delete the original thread and then claim that they can't undelete it as it would be publishing content but then they steal content from it and publish a news story on that same content anyway. Interesting logic.
Y, what the hell's going on here? Is some of the content from the original thread? I'm not sure. If not, why fiddle with users' content?

It makes it hard to follow (and harder to trust) what gets on here.

Have had an 'aspire world' card for years and had no letter as yet.

If I do get one though I will more than likely close the account and move to another card.

You may be right but I used to put business expenses as well as personal on it so exceeded £20K and never had cashback denied. Even bought a car with it once.
What's with the £18? I don't have any fee for what I thought was the same card.

    Hi DavidSuffolk.
I believe there are different cards and also different incarnations of the same cards e.g. I have the aspire world card from a few years ago. From time to time they change the offering, so I suspect we have different offers.

Martins news story says accrued c/back will be paid in June.

That seams to conflict with my World card letter which says CB reduces in May, the annual fee is refunded in June, and the accrued CB is paid as normal in January.

This mean I have to keep the card until Jan to cashout what I've already accrued? Grrrrr.

I would certainly trust what is in the letter more than what is on a news article.

Is it really that big a deal to stick it in a drawer for 6 months (or cut it up), and put an entry in you diary?
Yes, I know we all have a lot of responsibilities, but if you put an entry in your diary you can then forget about it.

I too would trust the letter more than what the article says.
