Capital One axing cashback for some, cuts cashback rates for others

I have a feeling the limit is £20K (which may be not noticeable by many).
I haven't had a letter, but just had my £18 taken, so cynically I'm wondering if the letter comes out after the fees.
You may be right but I used to put business expenses as well as personal on it so exceeded £20K and never had cashback denied. Even bought a car with it once.
What's with the £18? I don't have any fee for what I thought was the same card.0 -

Does anyone know for sure which products are affected here?
I have the MasterCard World product which is tiered percentage of 0.5% / 1% / 1.25%.
Just wondering if I need to look elsewhere now as this was the best cashback card I had.

Still haven't received a letter yet, I suppose mine is still with Royal Mail Have a very old Capital one World Mastercard. No Annual Fee, £10 credit a year, think cashback is 1% on 1st £2000 per month and 0.5% above this.0

Having quickly read the article I see it mentions American Express as an alternative for cash back. Won't they be affected as well?0 -

I see that the mods have now renamed the thread. So they accidentally delete the original thread and then claim that they can't undelete it as it would be publishing content but then they steal content from it and publish a news story on that same content anyway. Interesting logic.0

Well, at least it confirms that they should include the forum in their research methods.0 -
