To get rid of tax credits i would need a rise of atleast £3.75 per hour to make it worth not claiming tax credits, and i am not going to get that by any stretch of the imagination.

It depends though as I know I got it one year as I'd earnt around £11,000 but if I went over I think it was £12k I wouldn't have got it, but that's as a single person without kids

I bet he means national insurance

No, he said they were trying to avoid paying tax and employer's NI. A fact apparently.

I'm sure you know that just because someone or other says that something is good for you, it isn't necessarily. People like me? Get over yourself, I could run rings around you. I've had more jobs than you'll ever likely to have. I've worked since I was 17 and have tried several professions including catering, IT, and Personal Trainer.

You worked 35 hours a week and needed tax credits but could run rings around people? You're doing low skilled work and can't stick to a profession which just harms your CV.

Perhaps a change in attitude is the first thing that's required judging from some of your posts.
