So you just expect the rest of the working population to keep you, just typical of some people. As stated get a second job or look for one that pays better and work longer hours.
As for the self respect being rubbish I am sure people that do two or three jobs to make ends meet would not agree.
It is people like you that give this country a bad name, thinking that you have the right to be kept by the rest.

I'm sure you know that just because someone or other says that something is good for you, it isn't necessarily. People like me? Get over yourself, I could run rings around you. I've had more jobs than you'll ever likely to have. I've worked since I was 17 and have tried several professions including catering, IT, and Personal Trainer.

Then you'll have no problem getting a second job, if you're such a superman!

You have an opportunity to do something about it next month, try not to get evicted before your polling card arrives though.

Yeah totally, its always the govt's fault and never the individual.

Well, obviously in the other 147 hours of the week there clearly isn't enough time...

Spare me the cliches! It isn't practical at this moment in time.

So what changed between yesterday and now?

I have already asked about more hours, but they do not know just yet. I could look for a second job, but I cannot wait for a job to come by whilst I cannot afford a pot to !!!! in.

Probably because there isn't any, and the OPs employer is one of those that DO expect the everyone else to look after him buy only giving him part time hours and expecting the state to pick up the rest.
That is quite a jump of assumptions there...

You know nothing about me that's for sure, I started work at 14 and worked until I was 70 so don't try telling me anything. People like you are just lazy and as I said want everyone else to keep you. Stop acting like a spoiled school kid and learn to stand on your own two feet for once in your life

You will be able to claim Working Tax Credits. Have you taken them into account?

    How's that?

He hasn't stated his age, if he has children or any disabilities. If he is over 25 he doesn't work enough hours to qualify. He would have to work the minimum of 30.
