  • Just sitting down for a few minutes then put the kids to bed, got home from Cardiff about 20.30 last night so pretty much got everyone in and off to bed dh had only been home about half an hour before me from his trip away.

Straight out to breakfast club for the kids and to take dh to pick up his van half an hour away, then to work. Had a good day, I've been showing the Managers and office staff a lot of paperwork to help them update those and it's going down well with them.

Money wise we're ticking along but I need to spend time on Friday updating ynab ready for the rest of the month.

Trainers sold on ebay, must post tomorrow and that coupled with some money from my m-i-l means I have enough to pay an extra installment towards dh computer! I will do this Friday too.

I think that will leave only 4 more payments for that which would be fantastic :T

I have lots of work plans for the new year so I really need to spend the festive period setting them up, oh pants just realised I should have gone to do a club visit this evening and check some equipment :o Never mind I'll do it Monday instead!

That's all for now, nothing exciting but I'm finally seeing the end for a lot of things.

  • Hi all, I've been busy pottering around, working and relaxing with the family over the last week or so, so time for a catch up as 2016 is going to be very busy!

    * Xmas was lovely - we received some vouchers so I have used most of them to buy the kids shoes and clothes, a cupboard for dd room and have £15 left.

    * DH gave me £100 for my prezzie but it does seem to be going on food at the minute as he hasn't been paid yet and might be Saturday, just need to be careful for January.

    * I paid the 2 extra payments for dh computer but they didn't take out his normal payment so it must update itself so not as far along as I wanted but still working on clearing this.

    * House has been decluttered again, only dh clothes to sort out as they are a mess!

    * I nearly had a little blip and ordered some clothes and nice saucepans for dh birthday in a couple of weeks but soon realised that he didn't need/want them so just switched it off!! :o We are going for a little meal instead.

So plans for the year are:

    * Make presents for birthdays and plan for xmas 2016, it's my f-i-l birthday next week and we have made a photo holder from an old bit of wood that we have painted and glued wooden pegs on to to hold the photos, the photos were of us and I have had my little photo printer for years and always been fab and easy to use. We have also done 3 pot with seeds ready to be watered and grow flowers, and made chocolate brazils.

    * Pay off dd computer, my bike, my Mum and make inroads into kids computer payments.

    * We are going to Scotland for my 40th birthday in April, parents are having the kids for the weekend whilst dh and I have a few days away so need to plan accommodation and spending money.

    * Lots to plan for work and athletics, with it being Olympic year I need to organise lots of events.

    * My brother getting married in Germany in the summer, not date set yet but not through lack of him trying to get firm answers from his fiancee's family they are a nightmare to make decisions but lovely people, we met them Xmas day and enjoyed their company via translation services of brother/fiancee. We will spend a couple of days in Germany then as dh is going to get a bonus this year we have decided to actually have a family holiday. The plan is:

    Fly to Germany for wedding.
Train to Denmark to stay/visit Legoland.
Train to Sweden to visit Gothenburg.
Train to Norway to visit Oslo.
    Fly home.

    Soooooooooooo excited :j:j:j:j:j

Lots to plan and organise but need a bloooooming date!

We also have a weekend in the Lake District in February as dh and his friend are doing a half marathon.

Need to sort out pennies for all these things so work plans need to be put into action now to reap the benefits over the next few months.

    Happy New Year C x
