Blah I spent most of last week working through whilst been poorly, started with a sore throat on Monday which is not great when you're announcing at a competition. By Friday I was shattered and full of cold, had a couple of hours sleep in the afternoon which is not usual for me.
I was meant to work Saturday but I was still feeling a bit rough and didn't fancy standing in a cold field for hours, DH had to work anyway so wouldn't have been able to go.
Some ups and downs with finances:
Downs - DH asked me to take back his and kids library books, I knew they were overdue but what I didn't know was he had them on his card and so have to pay fines on all of them. £36 to pay  I've paid £10 so far. I was not happy with him!
Middle - Submitted application to change DH redundancy cover but haven't heard anything yet which is weird not even an email, will give it a couple of days and then chase up.
Ups - Submitted pay claim for last month so should get a nice amount plus mileage.
Meter reading done today, direct debit will change from 1st March from £91 per month to £64 :T.
I was planning on using the free months from council tax and water to throw at debts but I may hang fire as I want to put some money aside for our trip in April, plus we are now going down to the in-laws at Easter, I am working one of the days at an event so at least I'll earn some money while we're there!
Not much else to report, dropped dd at school at 0500 as she has gone to France, keep checking my phone as they should be nearly at the hotel, miss her already. I've been looking at lots of things to do with her and the family as she wants to be a Scientist/Engineer and I've found some free events in National Science week including a big fair in Birmingham in March so will need to factor in fuel for that, will take our own food.
All OK, C xLoan from Mum £500/£300

Morning, I have a few days off - a full week from main job but working 3 days next week as have competitions, I will still have some time to myself though. I will get my own training kick started again!
Picked dd from school late last night, she had a fantastic time and was strange to hear about all the places I visited when I was at school!
So back to finances:
* Got paid mileage already which was lovely so sitting in account waiting for mortgage payment to go out on Monday.
* Still no response r.e. dh redundancy cover, I checked to make sure that no direct debit has been set up, dh has decided that it's not really necessary anymore so to cancel completely saving us £28.00 a month. I'll do the letter today.
* I will do my letter today r.e. uniform washing, I'm not expecting very much but worth a try.

Good coupon savings today, popped into B**ts to pick up dh prescription and went to check out using the money off No7 products, I brought some cleansing wipes, eyeshadow and exfoliater which were 3 for 2 then £8 off with the voucher so cost me £11 instead of £25! Excellent savings.
I've printed off loads of coupons from the internet for food, toileteries and cleaning products as well.
Letter sent to cancel redundancy cover, tried to complete uniform allowance but didn't have some of the details so couldn't complete it.
