Another busy day at work, lots to do which is great I need to plan training for February so I can earn the extra pennies.
I've been paid my mileage today but most of it has gone back out to pay for child care, I still need to pay for both kids music lessons, school lunches for dd and swimming with school for ds. Music lessons payments can wait until payday on Friday and I'll get the rest sorted tomorrow.
Busy day working at home tomorrow, I have 2 competitions next week so need to sort for that. Whilst I'm home I'll take some things to the charity shop to tidy up the kitchen a bit.
No overpayments at the mo but I have request a small payout from topcb, doing lots of surveys still.
Looking forward to next 2 months water and tax payments going towards the overpayments instead.
C xLoan from Mum £500/£300

Just changed energy tariff with same provider, should save £14 per month.
Checked eligibility for tax credits again, computer says NO!
Car insurance and home insurance not due until the summer but will do comparison and cashback checks.
Now to check comparison for dh redundancy cover - edit - checked quotes, can reduce monthly payments by £10 plus a little but more cover. Will write letter to cancel existing and set up new cover.
Right what's next! - ahha claiming tax allowance for wearing a uniform, will be a small amount but all helps

Good morning, been busy so far this morning but catching up with chores in the house, kitchen tidied, vacuumed and mopped, 2 loads of washing done and items ready to take to charity shop in a min. Will also pop to bank to get change for all the kids bits and pieces.
Need to get some paper and card for printer but will claim back from work.
I've also applied and been accepted for a 0% money transfer credit card, so when that is set up I will transfer my overdraft to it and close the other bank account. :j This will save me £30 a month in fees and will mean my balance actually goes down. The card will not be used for anything else. Will have to try and hide from dh as he will go spare and show him at some other point how it is benefiting us. Definitely a time and place to talk money with him, I'm better at judging his moods!
The lad wasn't able to come and do a quotes last night for plastering as he was unwell so we will rearrange.
Surveys going well, no mystery shops, need to sell dd bike on ebay as not selling on fb.

Evening Chrysalis,
Yay to the 0% card :j this must feel great! Is this the first 0% you've applied for?
Sounds like you were very productive this morning!!!

Yes mtg first 0% card, I'm looking forward to making real inroads into that bit of debt.
Nothing money saving today just a waiting game now to sort out all those bits and pieces.
I was meant to be visiting a club this evening but the weather isn't too great so relaxing at home this evening instead.

I have been good today, I am quite proud of myself. I popped into a department store to buy some jeans and noticed that they had a sale of L'Occitane products, I absolutely love them and had several looks at the products and was so very tempted but I was strong and went away from the store satisfied with use of the hand cream tester and spray of the perfume tester instead. The perfume smells gorgeous! One day when I am debt free I will treat myself to some of the lovely toiletries, obviously finding vouchers first.
I brought the jeans with left over vouchers and as it was also in the sale they only cost me £1.
I have been out working today, home to a very dark afternoon and cold - I have one warm hand and one cold hand
Just picked up my rota for tomorrow, working 7am until 2pm again so not bad. No drinking with the meal this evening though.
Got to go and do the school run and a bit of shopping soon, brrrr

Cor blimey what a week, I have just stopped! I've had 3 competitions this week including yesterday plus work for my other job, plus coaching and admin I fell into bed exhausted last night but the upside is that my pay next month will be good.
It has meant that my finances aren't up to date so that's a job for today plus catching up with the washing. Also need to go shopping and get ready for the next competition tomorrow.
Should be able to pay off dd computer soon which will be fabulous, money has been paid into overdraft from 0% card so I will will just need to pay the last fee and close the account then I can let that start going down properly. I think it's the kids computer to start focusing on next as I can't make overpayments on bike and Mum and overdraft are 0% interest.
When dh gets paid I can sort out redundancy cover.
Lots to do but all heading in the right direction.
