I am no 23 in the mfw 2016 challenge and hope to be able to pay my main mortgage off in 3(ish) years, unless fate intervenes.Mortgage Free 20240

Since i can't pay in less than £500 bundles i will have to wait until the end of the month to correct it i'm afraid :-)
Went round john lewis with a giftcard (present from xmas) and was chuffed that i didn't splurge it stuff just because it was on sale even if i didn't need it. My diary is making me more aware of buying stuff on impulse and am definately cutting down on the clutter where necessary, without feeling deprived.
Oh no, the dreaded £500 rule:(
Its amazing what MFW does to you over time - isn't it? Bet you'll be glad of that voucher when you see something you really need and want:) I feel so positive about the start to this year - getting rid of the clutter is on my list as well as 100 other things:DAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030 :eek: Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Hmrc just told me they are crediting me £38.06 - nice to get money back rather than taking i.
Have also decided to keep my current car - hopefully the 0% credit card will arrive in the next day or so, so i can use it as payment rather than my emergency fund!Mortgage Free 20240 -

Just updated my signature with my new balance which takes account of my mortgage payment this month - now at £85, 693.33 wohoooo.
(Although i think A Frayed Knott might be even more dismayed at my irregular, messy totals - sorry!)Mortgage Free 20240 -
Ha, ha:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:j:j Well done, that's a fantastic drop from two payments back:j:j
So, if I was paying off that kind of mortgage in 3 years, I wouldn't care less what sort of messy figures:eek: I had at the end of my mortgage:rotfl:
I've £31,560.67 left over 7years 9 months, and is going to take me a very hard slog to reach my target of 29.2.2020:( No prizes for guessing the amount I'll be o/p next:DAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030 :eek: Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Another £47.80 from quidco winging its way across to me.
And yes, i don't worry about the odd numbers, but very aware i am lucky in that i have a job that enables me to pay things off quicklyMortgage Free 20240 -
Paid for car today, so will need to start looking for cheap(ish) insurance but since need business cover and have no no claims that i can prove, it is likely to be expensive. Will put it all on 0%card for 25 month, so can save the money in the meantime and pay off the minimum. Or pay it off if i get a bit jumpy, rather than putting it towards mortgageMortgage Free 20240

Tonight i moved my gas /elec to new cheap rate, moved an old bank account with zero interest to one that will pay me upfront, have interest and cashback. Also need to claim £95 compensation for delayed flight - if BA will answer the phones! Overall, nearly covered to cost of my short break.Mortgage Free 20240
