    All Good Stuff.

I too have moved my bank from the one that charges me to the one that pays me :D but unfortunately my gas and electric are much more complicated to compare, might just bite the bullet and switch.

Maybe it's not been covered before but you said that travelling a lot meant you mixed up your business and personal expenditure. Are you using separate credit cards?

Tonight i moved my gas /elec to new cheap rate, moved an old bank account with zero interest to one that will pay me upfront, have interest and cashback. Also need to claim £95 compensation for delayed flight - if BA will answer the phones! Overall, nearly covered to cost of my short break.

Pretty sure you can do that online. Are you in the exec club?
  • I have got it paid back to my bank account, wasn't aware i could do it online via executive club. I tend to use the same credit card for both personal and work because i only put large purchases on credit card eg holidays. I pay it off in full every month and switch to get the best cashback. Have got a separate 0% purchases card to buy my car
    - just setting it ip to pay a regular amount off to cover min, but might save to overpayments as stoozing

  • Sent an overpayment of £500, just to make sure i don't spend it elsewhere. Few big spends recently inc holiday plus some poor pay months so need to keep my eye on the ball.

Nice work, o/p, free weekend and mileage.

Love the snow, but don't think we are going to get any, think it will all be on the east coast. :(

    Enjoy.

  • Looking for inspiration whilst becoming a Mortgage Free Wanabee.

Mortgage currently stands at £61932. £48K on repayment, £13k on interest only.

    Credit card £600
    Next £300

Have made overpayments before but just come out of a relationship so trying to get my finances into order.

Any second income ideas would be appreciated.
  • Hi wrongers,
It is difficult to advise without knowing your situation. Many people start off by selling some stuff via e*ay and g*mtree and decluttering. Second incomes - can you get more hours where you currently are? Ask for a raise? Otherwise you might look at weekend work or bank work.
