Hac a bit of a spendthrift time whilst away soaking up the sun on holiday, but was worth it! Since that will hit my credit card next month, i have made an overpayment to take my balance down to £78,000 on the nose.

I am planning some needed work on the house to freshen it up - I haven't spent anything for 5 years on decorating the main rooms, and goodness how long they were left with previous owner, plus go on holiday.

All manageable although means over-payments will likely be on hold for a while so pushed my self to get below the £70k barrier. Seeing how far I have come in a few years i am pretty positive. My annual payrise helps - all earmarked to go into savings one way or the other.
