We used to holiday there when i was younger, even though its only about an hour away from where we lived :)

Where abouts are you then? Will be in Trebarwith in July for a family holiday. Can't wait to be watching the sunset over Gull Rock with a Rattler in the Port William!

Wow thanks girls! Came on here to get cheered up and you have certainly achieved that!

Clearly there's "plenty of fish" on here.....and you don't have to pay a subscription fee! ;)

I'll have to rule myself out for being far too old and well past childbearing age (and happily married!) but I do have a rather eligible sister.......and I'm dying to be an auntie! :D

I am in SE Cornwall now, but used to live in Bude. I still consider Bude my home, but the SE is where i have settled for now, until the kids leave school.

I have a coworker/friend who is 38 and single. If I told him he is old to start a family I wouldn't hear the end of it. He thinks life has just started for him. :)

Well, not too early for a male, but means I would need to find a girl a lot younger than me right.

    .

No not at all, 38's not too old for a woman to have kids. Your age or a few years younger would be fine

Another singleton here! I too became single at the start of the year, and have no children. I'm 36.

Thank you for starting this thread, OP, as you have cheered me up also (as I no longer feel 'alone') and given me hope that there *are* men out there in my age bracket that aren't divorced-with-kids! :)
