  • You carry on being excited as much as you want :) I'd be happy just going up the road for a week if it meant escaping the housework and daily drudge of work/school and having free time.

You will have a lovely time :)

  • Another day... and it looks like its going to be a lovely one! I now have bright pink sparkly finger and toenails - totally un-me!!!! Heigh ho!!!
Had to transfer some money across from Business Account this morning, am feeling pretty useless as OH paid in a substantial amount the beginning of the month and I didn't budget at all really and the money has all been spent, which is rubbish of me.
Next month I am going to budget and I'm going to stick at it. So my aim for June is.....
1). Have a budget and stick to it
    2). Meal Plan
    3). Reduce CC1 to £600
    4). Batch cook P's lunches
5). Get the accounts done b4 I start my new job.
Spent most of last night doing last minute washing and ironing, P's case is all but packed, need to do O's and ours tonight. Cats are being shipped out to my mums and dog goes to kennels in the morning.
I have sorted passports, insurance, E111 cards, car insurance, travel sickness pills, - I'm sure I'm missing something important!!!!
Ahhh must print tickets for ferry etc.....

  • ooohhh exciting, busy day for you today but sure you have everything.

Good plan for June but for now forget all about it, get yourself sorted for your lovely holidays and ENJOY!!!!

Hope you have a fantastic time xx
  • Home after a fab week away!!! Just all the washing, ironing and tv to catch up on!!! Will catch up properly soon!

  • Back at work this morning :-( OH's refurbed £20 table and chairs sold for £300 - result!! But our garden fence is falling apart so will be used towards the cost of replacing that!!! Our holiday if anything proved we really need to tart our garden up and make it toddler friendly for the summer which won't be cheap.
I have to sort out new car insurance ASAP = as DL want £354 - I have 9+ years no claims - so AM NOT paying that! Also need to get OH's company accounts done and filed in the month I have left here as I can't see my new company allowing the use of their software! That will save £1,500 in accountants fees!
Balance transfer done! Aim to get that balance paid off ASAP. Would only allow a transfer of £900 from a credit limit of £1k.
    Aims this week:
    1). Start on company accounts
    2). Car insurance
3). Sort out credit owed on gas/elec after supplier changeover
    4). Ebay 10 items
5). Try to sort out some books for Ziffit - need a sturdy box!!!
6). Sort out a serious budget and STICK to it!
7). Meal plan for the week
    8). Ironing fro holidays :-(

Not too much to be getting on with ;-)

Ah i sympathise with your post holiday ironing - I have done 6 loads and an hour of ironing already
Its worth it for a lovely holiday though isn't it!

I must join you with the ebay listing - I just dislike it so much! Don't mind gumtree so much so may have to bag up some clothes in a bundle and do that instead.

Anyway good luck with your list x

  • So how was the holiday? Did you have a fab time and actually get some time to chill out? I hope so.

Sounds like you are back with a vengeance, a break does us good I think. I feel your ironing pain, mine if bad enough just from taking a few days off it without any holiday clothes.

How did the holiday prove you needed to tart up your garden? I'm a bit lost on that one. Was it beautiful and made you want to replicate or there were lots of toddler nightmares that you have at home too? xx
  • Lovely holiday very chilled lovely food etc!!! Paige loved the gardens and spent every minute she could outside as soon as the door was opened she was out!!! Hence we need to sort ours out!!! It's not very child friendly atm!!
