Great idea for a thread. Only just seen it so catching up.
This April saw our mortgage drop below £100,000. It was £245,000 in 2005 after we moved to a bigger house and had very little capital to put down.

It's also a milestone year for our family. My 50th birthday. DS1 is 21, DS2 is 18 and it's our 25th wedding anniversary.

I think I might book out a room at the Milestone Inn for the celebrations!

    Cheers:beer:

    Morning all!

I have officially dropped under £13K this morning...£12995 to be exact and it feels amazing!! This is the lowest debt level I have had in about 9 years.

I've also just realised I've had a 1K reduction in less than 30 days....thank god for ebay! If only I could do this every month...

Anyway, on that note I'll have a prosecco and orange juice (it is only 9.30am after all :rotfl:)
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
