Two milestones for me this month:

    1. We are now in single figures for months until we are debt-free, only 9 months left:j

    2. Our overdraft is finally paid back...all £2,200 plus interest

9 months and 9 debts left;)

I think I will have a Double Vodka and Diet Coke:)

A new milestone for me...This month I have managed to set up a regular overpayment on my mortgage of £55 a month, which I intend to keep up. If the Natwest calculator is correct and interest doesn't rocket, this will cut 5 years off my term and save me a LOT of interest!
Debt free on 2nd January 2015
    Next savings goals:
    £5k emergency fund
£4k holiday of a lifetime fund

    Hi all,

I've dipped under the 14K mark this morning!!

I'll take a celebratory guinness please!
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

    Hi again!

My natwest loan has less than 8K remaining, I'm thrilled so will celebrate with a virgin mojito as it's so early in the day :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I paid off my car loan yesterday, a whole 13 months earlier than originally expected!

And I am down to having a balance on a single credit card (0%) which I will be transferring what I would be overpaying into a savings account to earn a couple of pennies and then pay it off before the 0% ends

I think a wee screwdriver cocktail is required

Raising a glass to all those celebrating milestones:beer:

As of 10;30 this morning I now owe 5% of the total I started with... From a starting point £42,000 this morning's payment took me down to to £2100! the very last CC has now started its snowball ! Only a little longer to go and I'll be debt free! So looking forward to being able to start saving.
