I've just had a call from an Indian bloke who said "This is ?? from ??. It's about your computer". I couldn't understand his name or company but I said "I don't have a computer". He then went "er, um, er" then hung up :rotfl: I DO have a computer!!Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £153.54 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0

I have the day off work today :j I'm making a cake for my Mum's birthday, it was on Tuesday but we're having a little lunch on Sunday. She's 70!!:eek: It doesn't seem possible to me.
I put the cake in the oven then thought I could smell the greaseproof paper burning ~ it wasn't. But when I check the cake mix was very slowly dripping out the corner of the tin. I felt like I was on GBBO :rotfl: Hopefully it'll stop once it starts cooking, and if the worst comes to the worst I've got enough ingredients to make another one.
Last night I rang up BT as my broadband keeps jerking and cutting out on all our devices, including Sky. I had real trouble understanding the man on the other end. Very thick accent. I think he worked out that it was a fault of BT and said it would be fixed within 24 hours. I've just this second had a call from an engineer who said he's going to come and test my socket (;)), so we will see.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £153.54 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

At last the rest of my ordered Christmas presents showed up today. But I'm still waiting on one, which I've had to reorder from another company as the previous one said "we underestimated how much we needed and haven't got any left". :mad:
I've still got loads more to get, but don't know what to buy as the recipients aren't very forthcoming with what they would like, and I don't want to waste money on buy toot they don't want. Grrr!!!
Last night I went out to my works Xmas Dinner. The only male colleague who went was so drunk he was trying to eat his meal with two forks :eek::rotfl:
I had a few drinks but only paid for one :beer:. No hangover today, but feel very tired!
Have ordered a pizza for dinner tonight as it's just me and the kids. DH has gone out with his siblings, but I didn't feel like going out again, so we're going to watch a movie when the pizza arrives.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £153.54 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

It's getting to that time of year when I start thinking about New year resolutions. And this year is no different.
My NYRs for 2017 are (in no particular order)-
Lose weight (this one is
)
-
Declutter and put on ebay, amazon, charity or bin
-
Spend less, save more
-
Move more!! (I have a fitbit but don't take any notice of it!
)
-
Get more sleep!!
-
Keep on top of emails (currently have 5K on hotmail and 700 on aol)
-
Enter more comps again (I used to enter loads and win lots but haven't entered many for a long time)
-
And obviously overpay the mortgage!!
