Nightowl, that does make sense to me. Like I said, I do not know that much about cavy genes (I know more about rabbit genes). The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -
Lets put it another way, if two Peruvians carry Alpaca (ie, have it in their ancestory or line) and they have babies together you could get Alpaca's come out in the litter. Basically both breeds are the same genetically with two rosettes on the rump, the Alapca has curly hair the Peruvian does not.0

Don't know where else to put this, but as it is at least vaguely OS (in that you put it together yourself) here goes...........
in a few weeks I am hoping to have a pair of guinea pigs, and until the weather improves they will need to be housed indoors. I found this website with some brilliant ideas, but have had no luck finding a UK supplier of the wire cubes.http://www.guineapigcages.com/cubes.htm
if anyone has any pointers I shall be eternally gratefull, and name the first 2 piggies after them.....................:j0 -

Dam I had tons of these you could of had and all I did was throw them out as they were taking up to much room but I got mine very cheap from argos but they were called "storage cubes" I think....was about 3 years ago, they were cubes and were clipped together by round clips and you could make different shapes with them for the piggies,oblong,square......good luck with your quest....:hello:Time2start a new year diet for a new me:j0
