DrCarrie - glad your NSing is going well.
Is the new challenge up yet? I am not sure who was next for running it, but fairly sure its not me as I think I said August.

Evening all,
It is very quiet - the usual end of the month lull/eagerly awaiting payday.
Today has been a spendy day, 63p on a Wispa Gold as I needed chocolate after trying to control 14 unruly Year 11s who apparently do not like my subject, me, my rules, my work, GCSEs, revision etc. They were vile today, but tomorrow is another day, and I WILL greet them with a smile!
I did another tutoring session and paid the money off the debt. Having the chance to increase my income really has been a lifeline to me and paying off the debt. Think the tutoring will start cooling off now as the exams have started and some of my tutees are starting to get a bit more independent with their revision.

Today I am grateful for dd's school deciding she was poorly enough to come home, for my school just telling me to drop everything and go, for getting a dr appt and a diagnosis of an ear infection, for the chemist having the antibiotics, for the antibiotics being a LEMONY flavour and therefore dd bring able to take them without gagging!
she has gone to sleep really quickly, which bodes well for sending her back in tomorrow - her request!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Sorry I wasn't here or could have held light on SOA as clearly remembered the issues with Uni taking up so much time and possibly bowing out of May.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day and stuck to my diet by going for a mixed grill on my meal out paid for by Him. My lunch was a tub of nuts while sat in Mc-D's so Him and Jellytot could have a lunch!! :rotfl: :A
WelshKitty congrats on the masters!!
apple & caeraugirl commiserations on the shoe problem for school. My sister used to wear through hers within 2 weeks, as she walked very funny on them, trod the backs down and never picked her feet up. Nightmare. Mum used to buy Jon James shoes for her in bulk and she just switched over. Saved much money! She also went through a stage where she insisted she was a size 8 with 'clown feet' when she was actually an 8. That contributed a lot to the slobbing around not picking feet up. She was a weird kid.
apple thanks for doing May. I am July, should I move to June now?!
Also hope DD is much better in the morning, poor little pickle. Jelly's abidec is lemon flavoured, but I much prefer the banana antibiotics!!
fmess thank you so much for this challenge. I am sorry I have not posted much. I am only awake now because I took a pill akin to a friendly coma at 5pm and woke with a hangover and dizziness/sickness at 10pm which is markedly better than the dizziness/sickness and horrific migraine I had before taking said pill. I am feeling a bit more human now.
As for what I am going to do with my bonus, a trickle needs to extend to June where I will have a days drop in wages due to this migraine. I can't go to work feeling like this tomorrow so unless I am much better I am not going. Which means no pay for the day. The rest is being poured back into my emergency fund to cover the overspends on so many categories this month. I am still talking it through with YNAB, but my 'diet groceries' alone is £130.53 so over budget all on it's own without the £160 on normal groceries which have covered jelly and Him and the cupboards are still rammed. Still got a weeks worth of meat and fish to cover me so not going to worry about it and know now, it costs!!!
I have hit the SFD target I think. I am not sure where I am. I paid out £68 to the dentist yesterday but have already had the money paid back into my account from my health plan just before the end of April deadline for getting stuff in so that makes me happyworth the extra £20 tax I pay for the £450+ of stuff I have had out of it this year!
Off to plod as don't feel very tired now. Night all xxx

Happy belated birthday Lilt
Still looking for carpet, hope to get all this wrapped up soon. Ironically, I have not spent hardly anything over the last few days. Today is payday :j So, I should go through the 3k barrier finally!
Well take care everyone, hugs to us all and have a good day:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0
