    would this do ? :D
I don’t mind that you are talking so long as you don’t mind that I’m not listening.

Hi all, I'm not having a good time and need to ask advice again please (sorry for being such a moaner :o ) I've quit my job yesterday because things came to a head. OH and I had had a tiff and I tried to talk to my boss when she asked if I was ok but she was just nasty to me. I went to a job with her but started panicking about things that had been said/happening. I needed to get out and go home. I told her I was feeling unwell due to anxiety and I needed to see the doctor. She threatened me if I left I won't have a job. I told her I'm not upto working that day and apologised and left. I made a list of everything she's done to upset me, mostly since yesterday except for the job she didn't want to pay me for which I mentioned on here last week. I've now been signed off work by my GP for a month. I'm really angry that she's treated me this way and wonder if I have a case for legal action. I know I didn't get anywhere with this with my other boss but this boss knows about my ASD and anxiety issues so I feel I should get something for the distress she has caused me. The following is my list of horrible things she has done:
    • Promised me 25 hours guaranteed and an admin job. Then she gave the admin job to someone else. I’d told her I would do it after she stops giving me so many cleaning jobs that there was no time left.
    • Nasty to me when I told her I was upset and she told me to look in the mirror and that I've brought it on myself
    • At first said she would not pay me £41 she owed me as I didn’t work a week as in the contract
    • Was nasty saying I should grow up and learn responsibility
    • Sent text next day demanding I return customers key to her same day. I asked about my pay and she replied I would get it at the end of the month. This is not what normally happens.
    • Accused me of stealing key and threatening to call police
    • Twice she has said that customers have said their house isn’t clean. First customer said she was unhappy with kitchen and bathroom but rest of house was ok. Boss wasn’t going to pay me anything but then agreed to pay for 2 hours rather than the 4 hours I did after I told her my partner was seeking legal advice. She then sent another girl for 4 hours without inspecting what I’d done. Of course this girl said it was filthy and pocketed 4 hours pay for a few things I missed that shouldn’t have taken more than an hour. The 2 hours is part of the £41 she still owes me so I still haven’t been paid. I spent 6 hours on another customers house and it was immaculate but now she'saying the customer asked what have I done for 6 hours? She is aware I have ASD and that this will cause me immense anxiety to worry about my ability to clean and what went wrong
    • She had a dig about me not loving my children because of personal information I told her
    • Said that my partner is controlling and will throw me out
    • Gave my personal mobile number to a new cleaner without my permission (against data protections act) to pester me about returning the key

Is it worth me pursuing this and if so how do I go about it? I'm not sure what kind of solicitor would deal with this :undecided TIA

ETA most of her nastiness was in text so I have the proof

Dont be daft use all the time that would take up not to mention the hassle and find something else.
If I am reading it right £41 if you want it that bad go to the small claims court doubt she would turn up but is it worth it.
I know people will say it is but you will be putting in many more hours for this £41
If you can clean to other peoples standards do it yourself that would be a better way of getting your own back ;)

:( I'm so sorry that you've had such a horrible time with your job. I don't know much about employment law I'm afraid but I'm sure you will get some constructive advise from others here. If I recall there is an MSE thread about employment which might be helpful.

I don't think there is anything to contest here apart from £41 if someone wants to finish you after a few weeks because they deem you unsuitable I would very much doubt you could take them to court for that or any of the other points.
But I do not charge £150 per hour plus tips, fc ;)

qoc, I can't believe it, me say a word like that  Now I can't find my post to change it  I feel suitably embarrassed :o
I am a lady and my mam taught us to say pook. These days I say trump :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My arthritis has flared today, too many tomatoes I fear.

Went to the doc to check about my new inhaler, whether I have to stay on it or go back to my original one. I feel sick with worry now as she (the doc) has made me do another sputum test to check that I have no infection :( 8 days before my op now this.
If it is cancelled that will be the third time. Can things get any worse :(

Booger it, I can't be bothered to search again for that post, maybe later when I come down to land again

Leave it in :D hope the sputum results come back clear x

Never heard of it, but do know from others that Avon Skin So Soft product in blue bottle deters bloodsucking insects. Apparently Royal Marines and SAS swear by it
