So the only reason to have multiple CC's is to get more vouchers and you only use your main CC to claim the points. Is this correct?

    Yeah basically it is

I only use my main account for extra point voucher which can only be used in store.

Remember that every 1000 points is worth £40 in deals

  • Thank you so much. :A

By any chance do you have a Clubcard Plus (if that's the correct name)? I have asked at customer services, in local Tesco's, but they have given me two different Tesco Credit Card application forms. Is it a Credit card?:o

Also, (pushing my luck I know) if I have more than one Clubcard for the same address should I avoid phoning Customer Services? Get a bit concerned that they will come & take me away! (My DH has been waiting for years for the men in white coats!!!;) , especially now Tesco's is my new bestfriend:rolleyes: .)

    Thanks, Maid. x

I dont have clubacard plus - I do think its a credit card and to be honest I can do with that just now hehe

Yip I would suggest you do not call or email CS as you run the rick of akward questions about your accounts.

Just remember any codes you use - Some we win (work) and some we lose (dont work)

Using codes from here and www.paidtoshop.co.uk and they do work its a bonus.

Well same thing happend to me today when it was delivered it was the full price it didn't have the £10 taken off. spoke to a nice guy at tesco clubcard vouchers (0845 722 5533 option1) i said that it wasn't taken off said i couldnt remember the code used but it was a min spend voucher of a £30 (i spent £89) he looked at his computer and said that it should have come off and did a refund there and then back to the card!! Yippee!
Thanks to all on this website for the codes!

Same thing happened to me, gutted. Just had my shopping delivered and they haven't taken the £10 off, even though it went through on the computer. I telephoned the number above and spoke to a man. He asked what the code was for, I told him it was £10 off shopping, £30 min spend (I spent £70). He asked for the code, but I said I couldn't remember. He told me he would be putting a note on the system that I had called, and asked me to call back when I could remember?! Told him that there was not much chance of me remembering...

When I asked for a refund as the code had been accepted on the computer, he replied "Yes, that can sometimes happen. Sometimes the codes are accepted, but rejected when they are checked later." I mentioned that I had not received notification of the rejection of the code, which contravened Tesco policy. He replied that unless I told him where the code came from, and what the code was, that he couldn't help any further. I told him that my wife had been sent the code from Tesco (bit of a white lie, but there you go ;))

Moral to the story - win some, you lose some. Gutted though. Only the second code I've ever used!! Don't think I'll use Tesco again. After all the bread was squashed and the bananas look over ripe, even though i put a note against them asking for green ones. That and three substitutes, hmmmm!!
  • Hi yes we've been unsuccessful with the £10 off £30 this week too. We used it fine last week (once on mine, once on my wife's clubcards).

Tried the same with this weeks codes and neither has been deducted.

I agree - you win some you lose some (and lets face we have won so so many recently we can't really complain! ;)). In fact we did still win because we also had a wine delivery tonight - £23 worth of order for £6!

Will definitely steer clear of the £10 off £30 codes next week though.

Does anyone know the original source of the weekly £10 off £30 grocery codes? At least then we've a bit more backup to query it?
  • And realised we had cat food on a BOGOF and they've only brought one! the other was listed as unavailable  How poor is that??

Update - my wife just arrived in from college. She telephoned Tesco and told them to come and collect the shopping as she did not want it. They asked why, and she said it was because they did not honour the £10 discount. The man from Tesco said straight away that we could have the £10 discount. My wife said "Well why didn't you just say that to my husband, instead of causing all this fuss?" Tesco man apologised and said it wouldn't happen again. Yippee!! Got my discount in the end, thanks!! :T:D
