I'm being very lazy, sorry :o
If I sign up for a second club card just to get the free vouchers they send, do I need to use this to shop with? IE if I just have the account but don't buy anything, will they still send money off coupons?

Hope that makes sense, I haven't been drinking ~ honest :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

To be on the safe side I would use it. As if they have no vouchers to send you they may not send the coupons as they are sent with the CC vouchers. I may be wrong though.

Thanks for everyonr's input on the £10 off £30 spend being rejected.. I'll make doubly sure tomorrow when my shopping is delivered. Touch wood, I have never had a problem with this as yet... But I have to say that Tesco's are getting on my wick at the moment still waiting for them to refund for a Direct order I didn't receive almost a month ago!

So I guess I will be sticking with just the one CC account, as I'm sure they have it in for me already!

    Hi!

need to pick someones brains please!

ordered 10 boxes of felix pouches @ £3.14 per box, used one of the £10 off £30 spend codes, and the felix is bogof, so should be £15.70, minus the £10, £5.70, + delivery. however, when delivery came, some of the boxes were substitutes of a different flavour, so the bogof discount didnt kick in, so i rejected those two boxes. so, having rejected those two boxes, i am wondering whether i will have lost my £10 off £30 discount when the bill is recalculated? i was going to ring tesco, but thought i'd ask for your thoughts/experiences here first.

hope you can understand my conundrum! thanks in advance!

    xx

They are usually near the toiletries in Tesco and are part of leaflets detailing offers on beauty products and toiletries.

They were out in my Tesco a few weeks ago, so they may have already gone from your store. If you PM me your postal address, I'll send you a couple of £2.50 off WYS £10 vouchers that I have going spare.

when you return/send back items tesco will action a refund to your payment card of the value of the returned products. they don't bother 'recalculating' your bill. i work for tesco and have actioned dot com refunds on numerous occaisons. dont worry about it.
  • Had a call this morning from a Scottish lady saying that a wine was not available for an order next week.

She went on to explain she was an account investigator and that I had too many accounts at my address which was against the t+c of the voucher codes (I have used about 6 accounts for the last 2 years with no problems).

She asked which one account I would like to keep open and closed the rest, saying that all clubcard points would be lost. I said they were all for family members (the account she phoned about was in my cats name!) and that, as a member of Tesco Wine Club, I feel I can use any codes issued.

With all of their money, why can't Tesco have a website designed that operates within the terms and conditions that they want to enforce, like any other company would do?

So, end of an era for me but good while it lasted. Thank you all.

I dont have clubacard plus - I do think its a credit card and to be honest I can do with that just now hehe

Yip I would suggest you do not call or email CS as you run the rick of akward questions about your accounts.

I have got over 11,000 points this quarter, and I rang them 2nd time about an internet phone offer that I did not get the points on, I was put on hold and they gave me the third degree about loads of things, including a groceries purchase that for some reason showed up from a store that was not my usual local one (I presumed at the time they must have had a van broken down)! It is fortunate that I keep all my receipts, I was able to refer to them.

Going back to my query, I told CS staff that got the leaflet posted to me and complied with all the terms, I even read it out to her and told her the headset model and date and place of purchase (she asked - not relevant but I told her). The offer was 1000 points when you buy an internet phone and top up with £10 before 30th September. She claimed she had never heard of it. Sounds a bit strange to me. The tone of the call was kinda "where on earth did you get all these points from?"

Do they automatically treat people with high points as suspicious I wonder? I have the feeling there may be a flag on my account, I was put on hold and passed to "the Spanish inquisition" as soon as I gave my details and briefly explained the problem.
