I've seen posts that describe having multiple CC accounts, how does this work? I currently have 1 CC account, how will having other accounts help to increase my CC points? Can anyone give an idiots guide :)

    Thanks in advance

A quick guide/ reasons to have multiple accounts

Example you have 4 accounts -

1- You will get 4 of each mailings, ie Healthy Living, Wine, Baby etc. This will give you 4 sets of vouchers which means you will get 4times the amounts

2- You can use any code up to 4 times as you have 4 accounts - meaing you can say use the extra 1000 points on wine which just expired 4 times meaning you get 4000 points for less that £80.00 spend.

3- You can also use any MOC up to 4times too -

Please note that this also comes with the risks, dont call CS or cause problems in the store.

www.paidtoshop.co.uk is a great place for more info

    Hope that help's

  • Thanks for the reply Marcellup, but I have one other question. How do you apply for additional CC accounts? I have looked on the Tesco site and there appears the only ways to apply is either in-store or by phone. Are you able to apply on-line?

    Thanks in advance.
  • Hi there, newbie here!

XX2GFP valid 1/10 - 7/10 - used this code no probs, as with all other previous codes they have all been honoured.

However, on Tuesday I received my shopping using code XXVZYG valid 8/10 - 14/10, double-checked my receipt after the shopping was delivered (yes I know, silly of me) and realised the code had not been accepted, although at checkout and on email confirmation it had been.

Fair enough if they had refused the code before my shopping was delivered, but a bit naughty to leave it that late to inform me. As their T&C states:

"If we refuse an eCoupon submitted as part of an order, for any reason, we will inform you before the order is dispatched to advise of the correct cost of the order and give you the opportunity to cancel the order."

Can someone tell me where these codes originated? I guess if I know where it came from I'll be in a better position to try and get the £10 back - or to just be very wary when next using codes.

I emailed Tesco and received this:

    "Thank you for your email.

I'm sorry there was a problem when you tried to use your Ecoupon with your recent order. I can appreciate how disappointing this must have been.

I would like to look into this for you, but for this I need to see a copy of the Ecoupon or the email you received. So I would be grateful if you could please either scan a copy of the Ecoupon or send a copy of the original email to me.

When I receive the Ecoupon copy, I'll look into the matter and get back to you again, as soon as possible.

Thank you for your help with this. I look forward to hearing from you shortly."

I will not bother replying to the email, Codes are not suppose to be shared and to be honest its not worth losing your current points.

Some we win and some we lose

    Put it down to experience

I thought that too, But you can get virtual accounts online with no problem, this means you will not get a CC that you can use in the store. You can just use it online.

    www.tesco.com

Then do this - You will be allocated a CC number within 48hrs - You can shop straight away and the points will be credited.

You need new email address for each account,

Make sure you take note of the details you use, Ie name, DOB, Etc

Quick email's from www.googlemail.com - you can also forward your mail from here too another account.

Names to use,Eg Mr John Smith, Mrs Jacqueline Smith, Mrs Jessica Smith and so on

  • So the only reason to have multiple CC's is to get more vouchers and you only use your main CC to claim the points. Is this correct?
