Hi there - just made a coffee so I'm sat down taking a breather from housew**k!

JACKIEO - Mikey is so right! He sounds delightful. I hate putting the ironing away but, even worse, I hate putting food shopping away and I hate sorting out paperwork and filing it away. I'll probably think of loads of other repetitive jobs now. One of the things I love is looking at the empty ironing basket - it's such a rare treat these days!

MOOKYBAR - I have days like that when I just nap and nap - you must need the rest, though, so I think it's nature's way of making you slow down.

Weather is lovely here at the moment. It did try and rain earlier but I think the clouds have gone. It's forecast to rain this afternoon, though, so they can't have gone far.

Well, I'd better get off here now - I've finished my coffee so must get back to some chores.

Got the guy here replacing the boiler. Nice, pleasant young chap, but oh his choice of music:eek: I was at the gym when he arrived, and DH was asked could he have his radio on. DH said yes, pity he didn't add "provided it's alright music" :rotfl: My kitchen is now disappearing under a ton of rubble and dust. Never mind it'll be worth it in the end, and at least it's a lot cooler for when the testing takes place.

Morning all,

Haven't been around for a while as been on holiday and before that snowed under with the evilness that is w**k!!!! Back to work this pm and I'll have to go and get ready in a minute.

Got two training courses this week so work will be ok....once I get through today the dreaded first day back!

Spent far too much on holiday....as always and now need to cut back and start living old style. I shall be joing the grocery challenge later!

Gotta go will try and pop in later....

Birthday Greetings to Anniebooklover - and ((Hugs)) to JuliaPenguin - hope your break does you good (and that your tumbledrier works!!!! - no knickers??? shocking!!)
Weather now much cooler again and rain threatening, but two loads flapping on the line to date. Have to walk into town to pay in two cheques soon, and then maybe I'll tackle that cupboard in DS's room that hasn't been touched in years! (He's now 32 and it's full of toys and children's books!)
Have an emergency phsio appt. as my back started creaking again last week (must remember not to lift DGD up steps in pushchair in future!)

Lost another 1lb today, really wasnt expecting to lose any this week due to not exercising much, lo still not sleeping well:rolleyes:

Been looking up stuff about yorkshire for next summer as this will be our treat to twink for her 60th, if anyone has any info/tips then that would be great:D

Keep entering, it took me a good few months before i won anything, but now i seem to win a few things evey month - my first prize was a bag worth £350 (i got £170 on ebay) but apart from that, its been smallish prizes, but prizes non the less, and i get so excited when i get an email saying congratulations, or sometimes it just surprises you and comes in the post with no warning!!!

Its still quite warm here but very dull just had a down pour theres definatly more to come i think.Postman came with lots of letters going to let oh sort it all out. Really need to get stuck into the ironing and give everywhere a good tidy. I'v just started to enter the compitions too.The kids are back home again dd2 has stayed a bit longer as shes entered a few fishing matches.

hope all's well with everyone,im just waiting for MIL to arriive for a brew and natter.(im lucky to have a MIL that is so easy to get on with)

not doing much after that,took ILO out for a run before (he ran, i hobbled around the field,ive got awful sciatica in my left side ,which makes it hard for me to walk long distances)
had all intentions of attempting a bit of ironing today but with my back feeling so achey im gonna give it a miss.roll on going to the spine clinic on 28th.
