and a new cross stitch to do!!!! my dear aunt bought a kit for my other aunty and uncles ruby wedding in november but she has never done cross stitch before and thought it would make a nice gift as its a ruby wedding sampler, now i have it to stitch for her as she doesn't have time!!!!! She only works 16 hours a week and i work 40 and she no longer has kids at home whereas i have 3 still at home. I wonder where i will get the time to do it??????

Morning all,
Haven't posted on the daily for a while as ds2 keeps borrowing my laptop to play on. Had a bad night's sleep - was awake from 2.45 to 4.30, which is very unusual for me, but dh is in Japan for a week, so maybe that's why.
Want to tackle the playroom today - I might well use Hester's idea of 15 mins at a time - there's only so much decluttering you can do. Loved the story of the phonecall - how do you explain dropping your mobile in the bath?:D
It poured down here yesterday - it's fine ATM but is supposed to rain later - must get some washing out asap! Ds1 is supposed to be playing golf at noon, but I think it will depend on the weather.
Must put some bread on in a minute for lunch to go with spaghetti hoops (reduced tin) - dinner is chicken curry, rice and HM naan bread. Made some mince pies yesterday - people keep bringing me reduced jars of mincemeat ie down to 10p - luckily ds1 loves them.
Hello to everyone new and hugs to any one that wants one - haven't read yesterdays thread yet - must go and catch up.
Have a great day“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Just found out that i have won the Super Deluxe Cooler Hamper from Kerrygold - so we (the children and me) have all had a cheer, we love it when i win something - still hoping to win a Wii, but no joy yet.
Nothing much happening today, do want to do some cleaning, and also i have some buttermilk left over from making butter yesterday, so might make some scones in a mo as well.:p
Hope everyone has a lovley day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:money:0 -

Morning All,
HB to Annie! (((Juliapenguin))) and anyone else that needs one. Welcome newbies!
Haven't read yesterdays post yet so pls excuse me if I've missed off anything important.
Trying to type and PKitty keeps trying to nuzzle/suckle the skin around my neck or my chin! I'm really looking forward to him growing out of this.
OH spent 2 hrs putting in new magnetised cat flap yesterday, mostly turning screws! Confused cats still trying to learn how to get in and out. It's noisier than the previous version which is a pain but hopefully it'll mean we can keep PK in until he's old enough to have a bit more sense. We've got it set around the wrong way at the moment, so when PK it old enough OH will have to turn it around. Hope it doesn't take 2 hrs again!
Sat in garden yesterday enjoying sunshine - but not enjoying smell of weed and feed OH had put on the scrub that will be lawn. After so long without water I now have to use some on the lawn to water in the feed, since it didn't rain when we expected. Seems a little wasteful so will mitigate by using bathwater to scrub down some dirty stuff, including car if I'm feeling good!
MUST sort out a bunch of stuff. Keep putting off loads, but realised we may be going away in October, so will have catfeeders coming in, so would like house to not be a mess. Will find timer and get it set on 30 mins or 45 min intervals to do stuff. Must write list of stuff to do. Must find motivation! Anyone got any spare ?
Have a good day folks.0
