I hope Reel do it as they used to do Orange Weds but their website just says that it has ended and no mention of this new deal. Our Vue is so expensive that I wont go there even with the offer. I found out a few days ago when I went to do my car insurance that my purchase last January for contents insurance qualified (and I got a meerkat).

Mine activated after 36 hours of waiting. During that time it went from 'Sorry the details are incorrect' when i tried to activate myself, to, 'Your Meerkat Movies has now been activated' when i logged on after 36 hours. So dont fret, just wait and it WILL do it itself :-)

Might have wasted £2 though...Joined my daughter aswell so she can go with her friends, and when hers activated, the 241 cinema code was exactly the same as mine? This makes me think, is it the same 241 code for everyone every week? If so, then why are we all paying £2 to join up, instead of just going online every week to get the new weeks activation code and use it that way? My daughters a I's account arent connected, and i looked twice to make sure it was her account i was looking at?!

Yep, same here, I bought ERV travel insurance yesterday, tried it in the app yesterday evening and got error messages, then went to try it again tonight and it was already done when I opened the app.:T
  • Well, it seemed to have worked for me. Signed up, logged in, bought the 1 day travel insurance, waited for email, clicked the link, agreed to the terms and conditions, got first cinema code. Does anyone have a list of the participating cinemas?! :-) Oh yes, I don't want to install the 15MB app on my phone :-)
  • OK, just found this from a Google Search...

    odeon.co.uk/meerkatmovies/

    ...good start!

  • Managed to buy a one day travel for £2.81 last night.

Still not allowing me to validate though :-(
  • Okay, peoples you need to read some of the other posts, it clearly states that you NEED TO WAIT 48 HOURS AT LEAST FOR YOUR PURCHASE TO BE AUTHORISED AND YES TRAVEL INSURANCE DOES COME INCLUDED IN THIS OFFER!!!!!

Shesh - okay and breathe - I waited 48 hours and just checked and it is all fab, all been authorised and is working :) yay thank you MSE :)

I've just printed out my first Movies Voucher having purchased a single trip policy for one week to Europe for just over £8. Only later did I realise I could have purchased similar policy for UK for £3.47!
Brilliant we can now enjoy 2 for 1 movies in the same way as we did for Orange Wednesday. It was a shock going to the movies this week and paying £14.20 for 2 x senior tickets!
